After the enormous success of the 308 model, Ferrari launched a replacement for model year 1986. The 328 was a face lifted 308 with a softer more rounded front nose and front and rear body colored bumpers along with an increased 3.2 litre 4 valve per cylinder V8 engine which it shared with its sister the Mondial 3.2. For mid year 1988, Ferrari added ABS brakes to the 328 as an option and standard for model year 1989. The front suspension geometry was redesigned to accept the new ABS system and the flat star wheels became a convex 5 spoke star which was also the same wheel used on the Mondial. The engine was the familiar Bosch K-Jetronic as used on the previous 308 model and the gearbox was the familiar 5 speed manual. The 328 continued on through production until model 1989 when the 348 was introduced as a replacement.

European Motor Studio is proud to offer this stunning 1989 Ferrari 328 GTS finished in beautiful Nero paint over Tan Connolly leather interior. This 328 left the Marranello production line in November of 1988 and was invoiced to Ferrari North America. The car sold new in Chicago Illinois to its first owner and spent two years in Chicago until moving to Florida all through the 90’s and early 2000’s. From there the car moved to Georgia with its 3^rd owner where is has been ever since European Motor Studio acquired the car. The car has only covered a very low 29,640 original documented miles from brand new. The Nero paint is absolutely stunning and still has deep finish. The body is completely dent, ding, rust or accident free and free from any scratches (a few tiny stone chips in the front nose that has been touched up). The lower front skirt is perfect and does not show one mark on it. The interior of the car is all 100% original and in gorgeous condition. The Connolly leather interior shows extremely minimal wear and no fading or tears. The original carpeting is stain and tear free and the dash board does not show any damage or wrinkling. All of the switchgear is in excellent condition and damage free. The removable targa roof is in excellent condition and shows very minimal wear on the headliner. The targa roof still has its original black vinyl cover that sits behind the two seats when stowed. The rubber on the drivers side where the door meets the body of the car has one small tear in it (pic shown). This Ferrari 328 has just undergone a full engine out service including the fluids, the water pump and the cam belt 9 months ago. The car runs and drives superbly, its starts right up and does not smoke or miss. The car idles without any hesitations and accelerates smoothly and quickly. The transmission feels extremely solid and tight, free from any grinding or slipping. The brakes feel very solid and precise and do not show any signs of fade or grinding. The suspension and steering feel incredibly tight and precise free from any thumping, shakes or rattles. All of the electronics on the car are in working order including the taillights, headlights, turn signals, reverse lights, interior lights, dash lights, and side marker lights. The power windows door locks and mirrors are working as designed and the power antenna is still functioning properly. The AC blows ice cold and the heater is working as designed on the different fan speeds. All of the gauges appear to be reading and operating correctly and the gauge back lights all light up. The original Ferrari 5 spoke wheels are in excellent condition and free from any curb rash or damage and the tires are newer with about 70% tread life left. This Ferrari has a fairly extensive service history that comes with the car and also has its owners hand book, original radio, original Ferrari keys and the original Ferrari jack and belts in their original bag. This Ferrari comes with a free and clear title with a clean carfax and a Box A actual miles title. This is an outstanding example of the very last year of the desirable Ferrari 328 GTS in a stunning color combination.
