Check out this trade-in here at Sam Leman Eureka.  This car needs some finishing, but has a ton of potential.  

This car was born a 1977 Chevy Camaro Z28, and the owner was fond of the 70-73 body style.  It was then converted to a 1973 by a local bodyshop.  It was painted a metallic orange with white rally stripes.  The paint is pretty fresh, and could use some buffing, but it would look really nice.  Underneath, it does have a little floorpan rust in one spot on the passenger side that has been patched.  Otherwise it is solid. 

Mechanically, we haven't gone through this car completely, thus not building up the cost of the car. We have, however driven it around quite a bit, and it does not seem to leak and it drives ok.  It does have old tires on it, and has air shocks on the rear suspension.  It runs and drives ok, but I wouldn't plan on driving it too far because of the tires.  It has a small block chevy in it, a 350 we believe, that has a fairly large cam in it, headers, and aluminum intake, an aluminum radiator with electric fan, a brand new holly 870(vaccuum secondary), and full MSD ignition(coil,distributor,box).  It's an th400 automatic that shifts firm and fast and has a stall convertor in it that is not stock.  It also has 3" exhaust with flowmaster mufflers and 2.5" tailpipes-and it's all welded. The car needs some tuning, but has the potential to be fast.   

Inside, the seats are in good condition front and rear, the console has a horseshoe style shifter(ok shape), and decent carpet.  The gauges are all aftermarket and work when they want to.  There is no radio in the car.
