Up for sale we have a 1964 Dodge Dart GT Convertible. In ’64 most of the Darts were powered by the slant 6 Engine which was one of the best engines ever made. The one we have for you is a great driver that has a good look especially with the top down. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and driveline of the Dodge, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.

Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. We will start off with the exterior of the Dart. It has a straight body with good lines. The fit of the panels is very good. Everything is covered in the Roman Dark Red that is a factory color. It’s accented by the black top and the black in the side trim. The stainless and trim looks good with all the glass being good. The bumpers look good, but they are not new. The final exterior touch is the set of stock wheels and hubcaps.

Next, we will take a look at the interior of the Convertible. Everything is all done in black with the correct bucket seats. This car as many of the early Dodges has the push button trans with the controls on the dash. When you look at the dash it’s all correct down to the radio. You will see that it also has the controls for the Power Top. The interior of this dart is good but is not perfect as it all appears to be factory.

Finally, we will take a look at the driveline of the Dodge. Under the hood it looks as it did in ’64 with a 225 slant 6 engine and Auto Trans. It has Power Steering and 4 Wheel Drum Brakes. Also it retains the stock exhaust. When you look at the bottom it has had some repairs but not too much. When you look in the trunk it’s all solid with no signs of repair.

Unless the car is advertised as an original Mileage car do not assume that the Mileage/Odometer reading is the actual mileage.  It is simply what the odometer is reading at the time of the pictures.  IT IS NOT ACTUAL MILEAGE UNLESS STATED SO IN DESCRIPTION.
