As hot as pickups have been in the last few years nice ones are getting harder to find... Here we have a great example of clean California pickup. The truck is very nice top to bottom with only 6500 miles since its restoration. The paint and body are both superb on the truck. The bright red Base/ Clear is accented by the black two tone. The body shows no signs of being patched , body damage or bubbles. The rockers, cab corners and floors are all solid as is the roof drip rails. A 1968 front clip was used in the build for a sleeker sloped nose look.The chrome and britework are both very nice... either restored or new. The glass and weatherstriping is also very nice. Under the hood a rebuilt mid seventies 5.7 liter 350 cid engine is nicely dressed with chrome goodies and some modifications including, Hooker coated headers, electronic ignition, billet pulleys with power steering and A/C. The transmission is a Automatic overdrive to make highway cruising very comfortable. The stance was achieved by dropped spindles in the front with 2 inch dropped springs , 3 inch dropped springs in the rear were installed with a 2 inch lowering block and a rear c-notch kit. The wheel selection makes the truck with 20x8 and 20x9.5 American Racing Torque Thrust wheels along with spinner caps and speed rated radials. New power Disc brakes with a chrome booster and master cylinder stop this thing very well. On the inside the eye popping red houndstooth interior is all new and very nice! The seat, carpeting,door panels,headliner are all new and show no wear. A billet instrument panel houses the custom Auto Meter gauges that are all in working condition to keep up with the engine vitals. A tilt column was added along with power windows and a AM/FM/CD stereo for comfort on long rides. All of the lights,gauges,horn,wipers,dome light are all in working order.
