This beautiful 1980 Ferrari 308 GTBi is an Italian and American icon from the 1980s. Magnum PI, with Tom Selleck, made the Ferrari 308 famous. It’s angular lines and aggressive stance is recognizable anywhere. This particular 308 has been in Canada for at least 17 years. It had a full engine rebuild 16 years ago, and has covered just 11,000 miles since. Last Fall (2013) it had a full belt service and has been driven less than 100 miles since. It is ready to hop in and drive. No dents. The car was repainted at some point and admittedly, it is not concours work, but it looks great when polished up. The engine fires up effortlessly and acceleration and shifting are strong and smooth. No signs of rust anywhere on the body or frame. Interior is in excellent original condition, showing very little wear. Gaps are even, tires have good tread. There are a few touch ups in the paint work and the front rubber bumper could stand to be replaced. It has the period correct radio. Spare tire is very good condition. Odometer is showing 58,082 original miles. I’m happy to walk around the car and go over it in detail with any interested parties. No surprises here, this is a great driving 308, priced at where we think market value is on a decent driver. It isn’t the best out there, so if you are looking for perfection, look to spend another 10K+ for a lower mileage example. It is just waiting for a new home!
