This is probably one of the best looking 55 Bel Airs we have ever had, just absolutely stunning. The workmanship of the build is second to none and built by a well renowned restorer. For starters the chassis was upgraded with a complete new braking system from CPP which included a new power brake booster with all new lines and 4 wheel disc brakes with drilled rotors. The power steering was also updated with a new power steering box from CPP and new tubular A-arms were installed up front. The drive train consist of a rebuilt 350 V8 topped with a chrome Edelbrock intake and carb, MSD distributor, HTC coated headers, and March Performance serpentine pulleys and accessories. Keeping everything cool is a large aluminum radiator with an electric fan. The transmission is a 700R4 automatic overdrive with a Currie 9" Ford rear axle with posi traction and 3.50 gears. The body is laser straight with a perfect fit and finish, all body seams and alignment are perfect. Painted in a beautiful two tone champagne silver and victory red the car is nothing short of eye popping gorgeous. All chrome and stainless are new along with all glass and weatherstripping. The interior of this 55 was built by Steve Holcomb of Pro Auto in Knoxville TN and looks incredible. Finished in a soft gray leather with red inserts and equipped with power bucket seats with full console, suede headliner and chrome trim and hardware. Other features include chrome tilt column with custom wheel, vintage air conditioning, CD player, and Classic instruments. Trunk was also finished as nice as the inside of the car. This car not only looks amazing but handles the road like a dream. Plenty of pavement pounding power with a smooth and tight ride. With just over 1700 miles clocked on the bel air all the bugs have been worked out and it is ready to ride.
