Beautiful 1974.5 Teal Blue MGB Roadster with Rebuilt Engine and quality upgrades. Clean title and current tags.

122K miles on the odometer with aprox. 22k miles on the rebuild. The Cylinders were bored out when the engine was rebuilt so the compression is great and the car Runs strong with tons of power. The body is in great shape and is a rust free California car.

Tan convertible top is in perfect shape. Like new Autumn Leaf Interior, Custom Havana Burl Dash Kit, Smith Gauges, Wood Steering Wheel, Pioneer CD/radio with ipod adapter, cup holders and Coco Woven Floor Mats. Good Tires and Rims. Chrome Luggage Rack & Chrome tip Muffler. Upgraded Air Horn.

Includes Tonneau Cover, Boot and Car Cover.

 

Maintained by expert MG shop and recently serviced. Replaced items include new water pump, high output alternator, starter, pertronix electronic ignition, and clutch slave cylinder.  Includes Manuals and years of service records.

 

This is a very unique model. It is the last of the dual SU carbs and the first year of the raised height and rubber bumper, which makes for a great daily driver.

Original MG teal blue color was only offered in select years and is very rare. It has been touched up over time and the clear coat has been kept up. Minor nicks  but overall in really nice shape for a forty year old classic. The Original door mirrors were replaced with vintage chrome fender mirrors by a previous owner.

Originally from the Santa Cruz area, each previous owner took great care of the car. The car was always covered when not in use.

It is a blast to drive and has been a reliable daily driver for years. This classic gem always gets lots of smiles and compliments.

 

This is my wife’s car and she just got a mini convertible so there are one too many cars in the driveway. We hate to sell it, as it will only appreciate in value over the years, but it needs a new home. As far as MGBs go, this is a rare combination of fun and reliability with a striking color combination. The car has a lot of heart and you really have to see it and drive it to appreciate it.
