Up for consideration, my wife's Rover. She went out and bought a brand new Nissan Juke. (I have no idea.) So her truck must find a new home. This is more than likely one of the cleanest 02 model Discos in the country. It has been pampered and babied since day one and the previous owners have spent a small fortune putting it together.

The vehicle is in gorgeous all original condition, it has never been offroaded, although it's obviously more than capable. The truck has essentially new Michelin LTX A/T2-s, interior is superbly clean and all the bits work. It's never been smoked in, it drives like it looks, and turns frequently. These vehicles are rather durable when well cared for, and you just never ever see them in this kind of shape. The photos should show it well. Also, if you have a Defender that's not worth 50 grand and you're interested in trading down from, we'd certainly contemplate it.

The paint and body on this Discovery are beautiful. It has great gloss, the trim looks pretty good, there's no cracks in the glass, doors all open and close super easy, bumpers line up, hardly anything to complain about at all. There's 1 tiny nick in the hood, and maybe a few very small superficial marks about the body. It's gorgeous. The paint is all original, except the custom satin hood trimming.

This Rover hasn't seen road salt ever. It was from Arizona originally and spent its' life garaged, then in Colorado likely as well. There is zero scaly rust on the body or undercarriage. The wheels look good, and tires are 8 month old Michelins with about 3k miles on them. They are essentially new, and no, no they weren't cheap. The photos document it well, lighting all functional, awesome hand built custom bumpers, sliders, the huge safari rack, winch, on and on. It's awesome.

The cabin is every bit as nice. It smells pleasant and hasn't been smoked in. The leather looks just great for the age, and the drivers bolsters aren't worn from getting in and out a lot. The carpet is excellent, we have the heavy rubber mats that these come with, will be included. We have 2 keys, one with keyless one spare.

I've been over this thing and I believe almost everything works perfectly. Some of the stuff that breaks on these, seat switches work perfectly, window regulators all fine, dash has a tiny bit of curl at the front but barely noticeable, sunroofs are operational, and ignition isn't picky. It has an aftermarket stereo with ipod plugin, and setup for satellite I believe. The air blows cold, heat blows hot, seat heaters work, really nothing coming to mind otherwise. It's comfy and nice to ride in, very nicely put together.

I've sold a lot of these over the years. They have their quirks, but if you take care of them, they're very durable, and pretty simple creatures. I don't think I've ever seen an 02 in this condition. It doesn't have any warning lights illuminated on the dash, it drives super straight, shifts perfect, steering is tight considering the 285 series tires and lift. It's just nice to drive for a big lifted vehicle.

This rig was built to go beat around in the dirt, but it certainly hasn't had the chance too. The undercarriage isn't scuffed up, not all muddy, clearly was just enjoyed by the previous owners for its' looks I'm guessing. (My wife won't even drive when it's snowing.) We've had it in the shop just once or twice, replaced the power wiper switch, and fixed a small anti-freeze leak at one of the junctions. It does seep a little oil, but that's normal. We don't have a winch controller for it. The brake pads are about 75% remaining, belt, hoses all fine, trans fluid isn't burnt, diffs full, etc. All the lights work. At this clip, you should get another 125k out of it no problem.
