The title says "rebuilt" because of a divorce issue several years ago. The great state of South Carolina has a lovely clause that ruins titles when one of the newly divorced claims a family car as "stolen". 

As the CarFax will state, there have been wrecks in this car's lifetime, but there is zero frame damage. Contrary to what many people believe, you can get full coverage insurance on rebuilt cars just like any other car. The insurance company does not care, nor do they even know. The ONLY issue you might run into is if you were to take a loan out on a car with a title issue. I have full coverage on this car and it is dirt cheap. If you're scared off by the title status, you are probably not looking at the right car to begin with. This isn't a run-of-the-mill Honda. While it does lack the extra overhead cam that the Si got in '99, it's still a highly sought-after project car. That's what this was for me, but I've moved on to other things! 

It runs great. It is as quiet on the inside as you can make a '97 thanks to the multiple layers of dynamat, rok-wool, and insulation. It has absolutely brand new carpet throughout the entire car. The seats are nearly new. It has that one ding in the passenger front quarter panel, but it comes with two brand new primered quarter panels as well. 

It's ready to go... it needs nothing, and it would make either a FUN project car for a tuner... or a reliable and economical 33mpg+ daily driver for the rest of ya. If you meet me in person, it does not have to clear before signing over the title.
