1969 Nova SS Yenko 427 Can Am aluminum block, Jenkins M22 4-speed and 12 bolt rear-end with a 4:30 gear. This car was bought new at Yenko Chevrolet in Canonsburg, PA. Originally a 396/375 Grumpy Jenkins was contracted in 1982 to build the 427 Yenko aluminum block. All documented. We have to conclude that Yenko did the installation.

This is a triple black car from the factory meaning black paint (code 10), black vinyl top and black vinyl interior.
This is a very rare car with a true Yenko aluminum block and built by the “master” Grumpy Jenkins.

45 years ago when they were doing Yenko super cars they didn’t think we’d be here 45 years later trying to figure out documentation. It was merely doing business and they didn’t document every move or car they converted. This Nova is a Yenko super car in every sense of the word. Protecto plate documented sold new at Yenko Chevrolet. Receipt states from Yenko “ to be installed in sYc Nova #4755515. (matches VIN)

Grumpy Jenkins built motor is 447 cubic inches, .100 over, 12 ½ to 1 compression, large bore 4.44 and consists of all ZL 1 components. Studded, blue printed and balanced. 600+ HP.

This car went through a complete nut and bolt restoration with no corners cut and only quality products were used. Body is super straight and body panels fit nicely. Paint is show quality with a deep luster. Less than 200 miles since the restoration.

This car may be more rare than a Super Yenko car due to the Yenko-Jenkins connection which is all documented. Great opportunity for the right collector to have a one of a kind gem in their collection.
