Up for sale we have a 1972 Chevy Cheyenne Pick Up. This was the last year for the 2nd gen and not a lot changed from the previous year. The one we have for you has a killer look and is paired with great options like the Vintage Air. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of the Chevy, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.

Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. We will start off with the exterior of the Cheyenne. This is true Cheyenne which was a trim package. The body looks rock solid with good lines. The fit of the bed with the cab is good with the proper gap. Everything is covered in the Turquoise and White paint scheme the complement each other perfectly. The paint is good with a slick finish and deep rich shine. The bumpers are new as well as the wood grain and trim down the sides. As for the weather stripping and seals they are new. All of the glass looks very good. Before they added the Tanneau Cover they installed a spray in bed liner done in black. The final exterior touch is the set of 20” American Racing Wheels.

Next, we will take a look at the interior of the Pick Up. Everything on the inside is also done in Turquoise and White. The seat, door panels, and headliner are done in white with the metal parts done in Turquoise. The dash pad and carpet are black. As with a lot of Cheyenns it has the gauges with the dash mounted tach that works. It still has the factory seat belts to keep you legal. Also, the horn still works and the radio is an AM/FM.

Finally we will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it’s powered by a 350 V8 that is mated to a 350 Turbo Trans. The engine is dressed with a chrome breather and Edelbrock Aluminum valve covers. The exhaust runs through a set of Headers and Flow Master Exhaust. The A/C is done well with a nice fit. Also it has Power Steering and Power Disc Brakes. They added a set of Lowering springs to ensure a good ride and give it a killer stance. All the floors and frame rails look good with no visible signs of damage.
