Newer collectible classic cars like this incredible 2005 Ford Thunderbird Anniversary Edition are always so easy for me to list, because when they are as clean, well-maintained, and rare as this unit is, all I need to do is give you the facts!

So on to the description and facts below.

THIS VEHICLE HAS A CLEAN AND CLEAR FLORIDA TITLE IN OUR POSSESSION, AND IS NOT A CONSIGNMENT VEHICLE.

DESCRIPTION

Thunderbird is almost as important to the Ford lexicon as Mustang is, and with good reason. This iconic brand has captivated many with its combination of stunning good looks, European feel, and classic styling, and even helped coin the phrase “Personal Luxury Car” from the very start.

When FORD brought back the Thunderbird roadster for the 2002 model year, it was a hit, with retro styling, ultra-modern Jaguar derived underpinnings, and all the charm and fun the original had so many years prior.

2005 was the last year of the Thunderbird production, and this car is a prime example of one of the most well-equipped units to come off the line that year.

A PREMIUM Edition, this Platinum Silver over Imola Black Ink leather interior Thunderbird is in exceptional condition and needs nothing but a detail and new owner.

The Platinum Silver finish on the car is still shiny, glossy, smooth, and almost liquid-like in its presentation. Thanks to years of regular hand waxing and inside storage, the paint still shows like new, and has no flat or dull areas whatsoever.

There are no large scratches, dents, dings, or paint chips to be found on the car, and only a handful or so truly minor light scuffs that will probably just buff away when you take time to have the car detailed. I am talking about hairline little marks that most seller won’t even mention, but I want to make sure I tell you everything, as I value my 100% seller feedback on eBay and strive to maintain it.

Other than those few insignificant hairline marks, there are no other blemishes to mention on the painted surface of the car. It truly does show wonderfully, in person, AND in photos.

The convertible top is in exceptional condition as well, and has no tears, rips, stains, seam pulls, or issues. It is power activated, and goes up and down with ease without any issues.

All of the glass is in like-new condition, with no chips, scratches, chips, or damage evident, and a light factory tint.

Rear window defroster functions as it should as well.

The 7-Spoke optional chrome wheels on the car are in fantastic condition, and show no pitting, peeling, flaking, or issues of any kind. They are not scratched or scuffed up, and show only the lightest, if any, signs of actual use.

235/50R17 Michelin tires grace the corners of the car, and they are in fantastic condition, with no damage, plugs, or patches. All of the tires appear to have at least 80% of the useable tread life remaining.

All of the chrome bright work on the car, the badging, and the trim is in exceptional condition, and shows no signs of damage, discoloration, or issues.

The doors open to reveal a beautiful black leather interior that shows as wonderfully as the outside of the car.

Carpeting is clean, neat, and has no signs of staining, tears, rips, or seam pulls.

The floor mats are beautiful as well, and show wonderfully. They were covered by clear plastic by the previous owner.

Dash and center console all show like new, as do the door panels, header panel, and rear fascia panel with its enclosed speaker system.

The seats fold forward to show the map pockets FORD brought back to production on the car, and everything shows like new throughout.

All of the functional items and options in the car work as they should, including all switches, knobs, control buttons, levers, and lids. There is NO sign of any damage or disrepair to the interior components of the car, and I would classify it to being as close to new in presentation as is possible on a nine year old vehicle.

The car starts, runs, drives, handles, and stops without issue, and feels like a new car in every aspect.

Brakes pull the car down from speed with ease, and without any excessive fade or pulling.

The car tracks straight as an arrow, and has NO odd handling quirks of any kind.

The vehicle comes to you with two FACTORY FORD remote function fobs, two FACTORY FORD master keys, and an auxiliary remote fob that came with the car from the dealer.

It has the full tonneau to cover the top when it is down, and I have taken a photo of it lying on top of the car, but have not installed it myself, as we keep the cars inside our showroom with the roof up halfway for display purposes. It appears to be clean, and looks like it should be fairly easy to install.

I do not have an owner manual for the car, but one can be downloaded from the Motorcraft site free of charge.

This is really a stunning example of what is sure to become one of the sought after collector cars of the late 20^th Century.
