The Chevrolet Bel Air was a full-size automobile that was produced by the Chevrolet division of General Motors for the 1950–1975 model years. For 1954, the Bel Air stayed essentially the same from the previous model year with the exception of a revised grille and taillights, a revised engine that had insert bearings and higher oil pressure which was needed for the full-flow oil filtration system that was not available prior to 1954. The 1954 Bel Air you see here is a beautiful car, ready to be driven anywhere your heart desires! This particular car has been stored for the last 7 years in an 8 car garage and meticulously maintained by the same professional mechanic for those 7 years. Needless to say, this is one well maintained special Bel Air! The gentleman who owns the car does not know the meaning of trailer queen. Every one of his cars is driven on a regular basis and built to drive. Finished in burgundy, the body is extremely solid, very straight and sound. The beautiful burgundy paint is deep and has a beautiful luster to it. The classic white trim on the rear fenders look great and compliment the burgundy paint very well. This car even has a few hints of pin striping by means of vinyl decals on the exterior. The white canvas manual convertible top looks great and shows no notable signs of wear or imperfections. The chrome looks excellent and is fitted with all of the stock trim in place. Inside, you will see that the seats have been reupholstered in red and white vinyl that look great and matching the exterior! Even the trunk has been reupholstered! The matching door panels and red carpet all look fantastic with no notable signs of wear. The original dashboard has received a face lift and now houses newer gauges that show a digital odometer. Under the hood, you will find that a 455 Oldsmobile crate engine sits between the engine bay walls and looks great! With a bigger engine comes more cubic inches to cool so this Bel Air is equipped with an oversized aluminum radiator. Attached to the 455 is a 200R4 automatic transmission with overdrive. The later model 10 bolt rear end is geared with 2.78 gears. To make this car even more comfortable than it already is, it is equipped with power steering, power brakes and Vintage A/C & Heat. This car really is a pleasure to drive! The Bel Air has an excellent stance and looks great on its American Racing chrome wire wheel covers wrapped snug in 205/75R15 radials. This Bel Air needs nothing and easily gets a dependable 18MPG. This maybe one of the most comfortable Bel Airs around and is ready to get out and drive! The VIN is WA7866810 and the current mileage shows 6,941. The Bel Air is being sold on a clear Mississippi title showing the current owner has had the car since 2004.
