1963 Ford Fairlane 500 Sports Coupe:  This car has spent  most of its life in the dry-desert side of Oregon, near Bend.  It has been parked for many years at a house near mine. The guy owed me some money, so gave me the car as settlement. It does have a clear signed-off Oregon title.  When I got it, it was missing the drivers side bucket seat. The previous owner was pretty heavy, and he probably wore it out, tossed it, and had another non-matching seat that he planned to use. I looked far and wide to source another Sports Coupe  bucket seat. The best I could find was a really ratty seat, and foam, but is a match. See photos. It can be upholstered to make a good set. When I got the car, I cleaned it up, had the motor revived, with a fresh tune-up, put in a new clutch, and discovered that the transmission first-gear is pretty bad (really bad, actually). Other than that, the motor starts and runs really well. It drives, and  stops, but the brakes will need some work, and the interior redone.  The pictures will pretty much tell the story.  The sport wheels were on the car when I got it, but I had them refinished and added a really nice set of Toyo tires.  As near as I can tell, the paint is all original -except for the front-right fender, which was dented and needed replacing. The car came with a spare used fender in the trunk, so I had it installed and painted to match.  The trunk was pretty dirty, but solid, so I had the trunk painted inside when the fender was done. There is very little rust on the car. See photos. Floorboards have some rust, be are still really solid and can probably be fixed with only POR 15 or similar processing. The blue paint you see is all original blue.  Again, check out the pics.  I wanted to see this car back on the road, but am not a Ford guy, so now it is ready for someone else to finish to their preference. I considered rebuilding the trans, but there is a pretty good chance that the new owner will want to install a V-8 and 4 or 5 speed anyway, so I did not want to drive my price up any more.  Please ask any questions before you bid.
