This California classic has been with a family for years with original paint and an 8 y/o restoration.The owner has gone completely through the car from top to bottom, inside and out. As far as we know, all engine and transmission numbers match. Everything under the hood is brand new.  They rebuilt the original engine (under 1 yr. warranty), put brand new, corrected exhaust on the car, new radiator, new master cylinder, carburetor, water pump, window cranks have been replaced, the interior is restored correctly with the original paint still sitting on the dash. The car has been maintained by one of the finest classic car garages in the country at Hemingway Motors in Santa Ana, California, with the owner Walt looking over every single detail of the car. The convertible top is brand new and goes up and down with ease. They installed seat belts in the car, which was an option at the time, on both front and rear seats. The ’62 Galaxie has new breaks, new front shocks, new power steering pump. The car carries the big police interceptor motor with police interceptor valve covers.
