WHAT THE STORY?

Range Rovers are not cars, they are not SUVs........they are something really special. This series has such a strong following and for good reason. Iconic for both its form and function, the powerful Range Rover continues to redefine performance and capability as the fastest, most agile Land Rover vehicle ever assembled.

It was 5 degrees in early December when I bought this unique SUV. It had been sitting in a lot for 2 weeks in bitter cold and it started right up to my surprise. At the time, I didn't realize that this was a marriage betwen the best German engineering and the best of British craftsmanship.
I've driven this car all winter, in one of the worst weathers in the norheast. The climate controls are wonderful with heated steering wheel and heated seats. It has the best AWD system in the market, and is mechanically perfect. It just look great in dark blue with dark tinted windows, and incredible sound system (with a connection for my Ipod.) I can't say enough good things about it. This is a incredible vehicle, no problems. or leaks or noises, everything feels like new.

From the first time you get behind the wheel it will impress you. It raises the bar as far as quality. The suspension is great, lowers for highway speeds and kneels for easy access. Underneath it is all BMW, with the 4.4. liter BMW V8, BMW drive train, BMW brakes.

Of all the cars I buy for winter use, I have never had a SUV that was more fun, and gave me no problems. It is nicely maintained and garaged. Excellent mechanical condition. These are incredible off-road vehicles. They are designed for off road use. But this one has never been off-road. They come 100% fully loaded. There are no options. They are all included.

WHATS WRONG WITH IT?
The cup holder folds up but then come back again, there is a console warning for a light bulb that is out called a "side light" but no one can find it and the backup sensors beep beep but don't work correctly.......... It has a few tiny paint scratched.

The mechanicals are excellent in this vehicle, no leaks, no problems......

Range Rover (L322)
In 2002, the third-generation model was introduced which saw the model move further up-market. Planned and developed under BMW ownership the third generation was to share components and systems (electronics, core power units etc.) with the 7 Series (E38). It was designed to accommodate BMW's M62 V8 engines for future models. The manual transmission was dropped entirely, leaving only the automatic. The 7 Series electronics system was being phased out during the development of the third-generation Range Rover and being replaced with the electronics from the BMW E39 5 Series.
