We acquired this car from an overstocked Volkswagen dealer. It has been recently serviced, passed their 112 point inspection process, and was being offered by them as a Certified VW. Rest assured, this car needs NOTHING but a new driver.
Combining German-engineered performance and handling with modern styling and a nice selection of creature comforts, this VW does a pretty good impression of its big brothers at Audi, Mercedes and BMW. Its economical as well - the 2.0 liter turbo puts out 200 hp, 207 lb-ft of torque and is rated at 22/31 mpg. The DSG automatic transmission has a manual shift mode.
This LUX model is equipped with power windows, locks and mirrors, remote entry, comfortable leatherette seats with heat, dual power seats, auto dual-zone air conditioning with rear vents, a trip computer/driver info center, auto headlamps and more. You can fold either or both of the rear seats if you need extra cargo area.
The "infotainment" sytem features a colorful LCD display and controls on the steering wheel. The display shows GPS Navigation System maps and info, as well as audio and climate control settings. It has a CD player, Satellite radio, SD card slot, Aux input and Blutooth connectivity for your cell phone. There is also a Media Device Interface that lets you hook up your iPod / iPhone or USB device.
VW has long been a leader in vehicle safety, and this car is no exception. It has front, side and curtain air bags, ABS, traction control and tire pressure monitoring.
This is a very clean car (non-smoker) that needs nothing. Its already been detailed, and the tires are very good all the way around.
