After an extensive test drive we can say that this 2001 Saab 9-5 runs great with no mechanical problems to speak off.  All the electronic systems have been checked and passed without any problems with the exception of the factory alarm system which has a message on the display panel "SERVICE THEFT ALARM" You will need a battery for the alarm system - which is the siren battery in the drivers wheel well area - it's not a hard fix, but a common onefor a 9-5 most people choose not to replace it as it does not effect the car other then the alarm/siren not working. The fuel gauge has a minor issue although the gauge is working it is off by a 1/4 tank, when you fill tank it will go to the full mark when it gets to the 1/4 mark on the gauge the tank will be empty, just to be on the side I would recommend filling the tank when the gauge is in the middle of the 1/4 and 1/2 tank mark.

There are NO CHECK ENGINE, ABS, airbag or any other warning lights illuminated on the instaments cluster. The engine and transmission are 100% Mechanically Sound, the smooth shifting 5 speed manual transmission has plenty of power from the 2.3L turbo engine. The suspension is in good working condition and the car handles very well for a 13 year old car. The brakes bring this very nice sedan to a fast and quiet stop. The tires are in good shape with about 75-80% thread left in the front and 85-90% on the rear tires. All the power options work properly,  the climate control blows both cold and hot air. Stop by for a test-drive.  Don't miss out on this very nice two owner adult driven Saab 9-5 Aero Which appears to have been well maintained by its previous owner and comes with a CLEAN VEHICLE HISTORY REPORT (NO ACCIDENT, FLOOD or SALVAGE HISTORY). I sell lots of Saab vehicles as you can see by my feedback so I am no stranger on knowing what to look for when buying them as most of them have the same issues when they get to be this age.  I specialize in repairing them and I did the following repairs prior to listing this Saab on eBay for sale. The valve cover gasket was replaced, New battery installed, both control arm links were replaced, and the message display panel was serviced to repair all the pixels (It is very hard to find a older Saab were all the pixels are working or the display pannel). 

The exterior is in NICE condition and looks great in Dark Silver. Overall the paint is in Very nice condition with a smooth and glossy surface and a mirror like shine. The overall condition of the body is very good with even body lines and smooth rust free panels. Under close inspection you will find some small door dings, very lite scratches and a few very small paint chips  that are consistent for the year and miles of this vehicle, these are minor imperfections at best that I could not even get my camera to show them, and it does not take away from the overall nice condition of the vehicle.  Any major dents, scratchs or scuff mark will be noted under one of the many pictures that I provided, please do not expect to come and find a brand new car, this is a 13 year old vehicle that is in very nice condition for the year and miles.  All the glass is free of chips or cracks. The wheels are in good condition with some minor curb scratches.  Judging by the overall exterior condition it was kept in very good condition by the previous owner. Take a look at all the images very carefully and judge for yourself.  Please note some of the pictures of the exterior have shadows on them and what may appear to be damage is in fact a shadow if it was some sort of damage I would of made note of it on the bottom of the picture.  

The interior of this vehicle is in  NICE condition. The leather seats are clean and look to be in average condition with less then normal  wear evident for the year and miles of this vehicle, their are no rips or tears on the leather front  to back, the outer edge of the drivers seat bolster shows a bit more wear on the leather very common on older cars.  The carpeted areas of the car are in good condition and look to be in better then average condition for the year and miles of the vehicle and look to have always been protected with floor mats. The dashboard is very clean and has no stress cracks. Take a look at all the images and judge for yourself.
