1976 Toyota FJ-40 Land Cruiser

This has to be one of the nicest if not the nicest nut and bolt original restoration Land Cruisers on the planet!!!

Restored to original factory specifications with no expense spared!

The FJ-40 spent most of its life in Arizona and New Mexico and has only 67526 documented original miles!

The body was completly disassembled and brought down to bare metal.  All original body parts were used except for the running boards that were new.  The body was epoxy coated and painted with Glasurit single stage 532 original mustard yellow. The top was painted cygnus white.  Original grey and silver were used as original.  The wheel wells were undercoated for protection and durabilty.  All of the body restoration was done by Car Concepts of Nampa, Idaho

All new rubber gaskets, seals, and grommets were used in the entire vehicle. New windshield and front door windows. New OEM headlamps, side markers, front and rear turn signals.

All badges and placards new OEM.

The original frame was blasted and power coated for a lasting finish. It was then reassembled with nothing left untouched, even the nuts and bolts were sent out to be replated!

The original 2F engine was taken apart and refreshed with a rebuilt cylinder head with hardened seats, springs etc. New starter, alternator, water pump, hoses, clutch, clutch master and slave, flywheel, harmonic balancer, smog pump, spark harness, fuel pump.  The original ignition system and smog devices were cleaned, repaired and replaced to original configuration.

The brake system completely replaced with new parts except for the booster which was remanufactured. All components replaced with OEM parts.

New, original configuration exhaust system.

Original wire harness was painstakingly cleaned and restored.  All of the original connectors cleaned by hand!

New OEM shocks and bump stops, New front end bearings, races and seals. Rebuilt steering box, center arm and new tie-rod ends with boots. New warn front locking hubs.

The interior is incredible with all new upholstery to original.  Seat frames blasted and painted. New headliner. The original floor mat was cleaned and restored. Yes this is the mat the FJ left japan with! The rear floor mat is new.

Original cleaned and restored dash pads, knobs and instruments. Completely refurbished heating system with rear working heater and blower!

New door panels, gear shift knob and boots.

Original restored jack with tool kit and bag. 

It took 3 steering wheels to make this nicely restored one on the Cruiser.

Every single electrical item on this FJ works gauges, lights, even the radio and lighter!

The FJ rolls on new OEM rims with stock hubcaps wrapped with BF Goodrich all terrain T/A,s LT 235/75/R15s
