Car is a typical 20 footer and needs restoration to return it to its former glory - or it could be used for a Judge clone.   This auction contains  98 pictures and I have tried to include what I could in the description so there will be no surprises for the buyer.  Note that some of the pictures that show the engine (like the codes) are from before the rebuild, and some are of after.

Rebuilt engine. Car had 75208 miles prior to rebuild and currently has 75476.

BODY:  The car supposedly has all original body panels but I cannot verify this.  It is from Alabama originally and does appear to have never had any rot, only some surface rust and one small hole in the left rear wheel house and  pitting around back window.   There is no rot in the trunk, just some surface rust.   There is no rot in any of the floors and never was as they appear all original.  The hood is bent, the hinges are new but the springs are not.   The right side door and fender are out of alignment. (fender possibly removed to change the heater core)  The front bumper has paint cracks and is bent a little under the right grille.  The left grille has a small crack.

The paint is not great, it does shine nicely for the most part, but it almost looks like someone stripped it, didn't finish, and painted it anyway.  There are dings all over the body.   It has a rear spoiler, but is not a Judge.

FRAME:  The entire frame looks good and straight with no rot, but there is a hole on the right front on the outside of the spring. (See picture)   It looks like a puncture and does not look like a big job to fix. The mufflers are bent and will need to be replaced but the car is not too loud.

GLASS:  All glass has scratches with the drivers door being the worst.  (Someone appears to have purposely scratched it)

CHROME TRIM:  Both side mirrors, two headlight bezels, and rear bumper are new, but all other chrome is weathered.  Taillights have some cracks.

ENGINE:  455 ci   Date code: H280           Casting: 483677 (2 bolt main)      Block code:  YC
CYLINDER HEADS: ( I believe they're original to the car)  Date code: 1299   Casting: 64   455 (360-370 HO)
CARBURETOR:  7040264
INTAKE:  9799068
TRANSMISSION:  Turbo 400  Code: 74 PR 2429
REAR:  10 bolt - ratio unknown.  Boxed control arms.

Engine is designed to run on 93 octane fuel.

Engine rebuild consisted of re-boring to 30 over, has new cam and lifters, new ram air oil pump, new pistons and reconditioned rods, ARP bolts, new oil pan, new timing cover, cylinder heads reconditioned, hardened seats, new distributor, new fuel pump, new pump to carb steel fuel line.  The valve covers are scratched and dinged.  Also comes with Edelbrock air cleaner - not pictured, but included.    I will provide buyer with all rebuild receipts.
Transmission was rebuilt and shift kit was installed.   Trans pan leaks after sitting.
Carb was rebuilt and re-jetted.  Power steering box leaks after sitting.

INTERIOR:  Seats are in good condition, seat backs appear painted.   Dash looks to be recovered, and it has two broken studs that secure it to the metal and the radio has been cut out.   Rugs are new.    AC ducts were not installed but are included along with the uninstalled AC compressor.   AC/Heat does not work - switches not connected.   The temperature and oil pressure gauges are not working but I installed under dash gauges to monitor the engine, all other dash lights and gauges are working.  Has tilt column.  4 ways do not work unless held in.  Power drivers seat (works but sluggish).  Console storage box missing.   Rear seat belts are missing.    Shifter is slapstik (Slap/Bump) type that has PRNDSL as well as 1 2 3.

Tires are about a year old with less than 100 miles on them.   Brakes and lines replaced by previous owner, booster and master cylinder recently replaced.   Rallye wheel codes are  JC, HN, HN, HN

See photo of option sheet for factory options.

All lights work as do the turn signals but the reverse lights are missing linkage rod and switch.  Not sure if I have the linkage rod, but a new switch is included.

Car rides and handles very well but after it shifts into third feels like it could use another gear on the highway.  Not sure what the rear gear ratio is, but I suspect it's high.  In addition, the car will not start unless the engine is spinning before you give it spark with the kill switch.  If spark is applied and then engine cranked, it WILL kick back.  Timing has been checked several times and it is set at the best point so I don't know why it's kicking back.

Some parts added since the taking of the pictures are:  two front headlight bezels, new alternator, new voltage regulator, new battery cables, 4 core Harrison radiator, under-dash gauges (Oil, temperature and volts), new rear bumper.

Reserve is set at $14,000.00
