The car was sold new to its original and only southern California owner on 2/27/1976 by 'Dick Barbour Datsun' of Cypress, California and boasts its original owners manual, service booklets and original purchase order documentation, service records at primarily Datsun specialists since new and its original owners 1976 'California Pink Slip' to prove its rare heritage! Always garaged, never raced or abused this car shows true pride of ownership since new!

The Datsun 280Z was built between the years 1975-78 and was the latest incarnation of the 240/260Z with the 240Z having been voted by 'Sports Car International' the number two car on the list of the 'Top Sports Cars of the 1970's'! One of the most appealing Japanese cars ever produced, unfortunately they have largely disappeared from the roads almost entirely due to insurmountable rust issues of all the Japanese cars of this era making this 1976 model all the more rare and unusual in its completely rust free and original condition! This car has the desirable 4 speed manual transmission and factory air conditioning!

This is a beautiful mostly all original and stock example with it's original matching number engine and with all of it's original factory specifications and options intact including original 'Light Blue' color paint and black interior! The car has always been garaged and has a razor straight body with no accidents, bondo or rust. The car has it's original factory black interior and front seats.
