Up for sale we have a 1936 Chevy 2 Door Coupe. The Chevy coupe made great street rods with the large front fenders and rounded top. The one we have has been done very nice and with the options that make it a real treat. It has Power Steering, Power Brakes, and a V8 with AC. In the paragraphs to follow we will give you a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of the Chevy, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.

Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned and operated business that owns our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. We will start off with the exterior of the Coupe. It is an all steel body all the way down to the fenders and running boards. The lines are great with good fit and finish of the doors, hood, and trunk. Everything is covered in the Tuxedo Black paint that has a deep rich shine and is accented by the chrome that is nice but not new. The weather stripping looks good as well as all the window felt. All the flat glass looks to have been replaced as well as Power Windows being added. The final exterior touch is the set of American Racing Wheels.

Next we will take a look at the interior of the ’36. It’s all done gray Tweed. It has a set of late model bucket seats that fit well. The carp is gray as well. All the metal trim is done in matching black to help flow the exterior to the interior. When you look at the dash the gauges were updated to VDO and the column was changed to a Tilt with a LeCarra Wheel. The Window switches were added to the center of the dash and the Power Trunk switch is behind the driver seat above the custom stereo. A CD player was added under the dash. Also the AC controls and vents were added. The arm rests and handle were changed to billet along with the LoCar Pedals.

Finally, we will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it has a 350 V8 that is mated to a 350 Turbo Trans and a 10 Bolt Rear end. The engine is dressed with an Aluminum intake and Edelbrock Carb. It has flame Aluminum Valve covers and a matching Breather. The AC compressor is aluminum and the alternator is Chrome. They left the exhaust with Manifolds with chrome covers. It has the flow master for the sound we all love. The front is a Mustang II with rack and pinion power steering. It has Power Disc brakes on the front and drums on the rear. The floors and frame look very solid with no visible signs of any damage.
