Up for sale is a 1969 Ford Bronco 4X4 SUV. It was professionally built and has $75,000 invested into it. The more you look the better it gets. Not only was no expense spared but it has been used for it's intended purpose many times off road and it is totally dialed in. It is as turn key as it gets and is ready for serious off roading the day you purchase it and is equally as impressive to drive comfortably down the highway.
For starters this is a solid rust free Arizona Bronco. It appears to have been reprinted one time in it's life in's original color of red. Usually we would take a vehicle like this and give it a killer show quality paint job but this is such a kick ass off road truck that was built to be driven off road we figured we would leave it alone.
It is powered by a late model Mustang 5.0 liter motor that converted over to a carburetor. It runs strong and has plenty of power to reliably power this bronco anywhere it needs to go. It has a brand new mandrel bent exhaust with jet hot coated headers and a flow master muffler. The transmission has been upgraded to a GM 700R4 four speed automatic with overdrive. It is a perfect match with the 4:56 gearing and 35 inch tall tires. It can climb up a steep grade and also drive down the highway at 70mph @ 2500 rpm. It also stops well thanks to its 4 wheel disc brakes.
The four wheel drive system features a Dana front end and a Ford 9 inch rear end. There are ARB air lockers both front and rear that controlled via switches on the dashboard as is the air compressor mounted under the hood. The control center of the 4WD is the Atlas transfer case with independent front and rear shift levers. It has a PSC hydraulic ram assist power steering
It has a very expensive and well engineered long travel suspension with twin adjustable Rancho shocks in the front and single adjustable Rancho shocks in the rear. It rides very nice and comfortable both on and off road. The 35 inch BF Goodrich Krawler tires are wrapped around Micky Thompson true beadlock wheels.
A small fortune was spent on custom fabrication and done by a top shop here in Arizona. The custom fab work includes the front bumper which holds the 9,000 pound winch and a paid of Pro-Comp HID flood lights. The Rock Sliders on the side also incorporate steps for easier entry and exit. The rear bumper is yet another work of art and incorporates a swing away tire care on the right side and a swing away gas can/cooler rack/illuminated license plate holder on the left side.
The custom fabrication continues on the inside with an awesome roll cage that secures the interior passenger compartment and all 4 occupants in case of a severe mishap. The complete dashboard is custom fabricated and there has to be at least $5,000 in that alone. It houses a complete set of custom white faced gauges that are hooked up and work perfectly. It has a complete new updated wire harness(every light works perfect on this bronco including the VisionX interior LED dome light. It has a polished billet steering column with tilt and a carbon fiber steering wheel. The kicker speakers are build into the dashboard and controlled via the Pioneer am/fm CD player safely housed in the tuffy steel security console. The vintage air conditioning and heating system work flawlessly and the vents are evenly housed across the dashboard and work far superior to the original stock configuration. The vintage air controls are billet and illuminate as well with the headlights are turned on. The custom seats are all tied into the roll cage and have race harnesses for all passengers. The Hi-Lift jack is stored behind the rear seat along with the emergency tools and winch controller.
I am sure I am leaving out a ton of other upgrades but here are some more to mention: It has it's original hard top and fits perfectly on the truck. It also has a custom bikini top that is very nice and secures very well so it stays on even at highway speeds with flapping around. The headlights are upgraded H4 units, it has a new 23 gallon replacement fuel tank in the rear and a metal second gas tank midship. It has 2 Optima red top batteries that are held down with billet Ford Racing hold downs. The interior is all rhino lined and there is steel armor plating on the rear quarter panels to protect the body.
This Bronco has had no expense spared and has been tested and upgraded many times over the past few years. It is not a home built truck and absolutely everything was professionally installed and finished off 100%. It is ready for an immediate excursion as it sits and is as turn key as it gets. When you compare the parts and fabrication on this Bronco with the other ones out there, you will certainly see the difference and the value in this one.
