1991 Jeep Wrangler Renegade

You are looking at a 1991 Jeep Wrangler Renegade edition.  This is one of just 3,692 Renegades made in 1991.  These limited edition vehicles had the 'Renegade Decor Group' option package whereby they were shipped to American Specialty Cars (ASC) to have this package installed.  This package carried a hefty price tag of $4,266 over a base Jeep Wrangler in 1991 and included exclusive body flares, special alloy wheels, decals, and much more. In 1991, only three colors were produced; red, white, and black.

This is a nice, well-optioned Jeep that runs and drives as good as it looks.  You will notice that this vehicle has been well cared for over the past twenty three years.  This ONE OWNER vehicle has a clean CARFAX history.  

Options Include: 4.0 Liter (242 CID) I-6 Engine, 5 speed transmission, Air Conditioning, 30x9.5R15 Goodyear Wrangler Tires, Exclusive 5-hole aluminum wheels, Full size spare tire, Highback seats with Trailcloth Fabric, Off-road gas shock absorbers, Power steering, Fog lamps (integrated into the front fenders), Leather-wrapped steering wheel, Renegade striping (door letters), Floor carpeting (full width, and on insides of body tub), Floor mats (front), Extra capacity fuel tank (20 US gal.), Color keyed fender flares with integrated bodyside steps, front and rear bumperettes (plastic), Center console with cup holders, Courtesy and engine compartment lights, Interval wipers, and Glove box lock.

The exterior is in good condition.  The wheels were recently refinished and painted and the tires are new.  The soft top is a brand new BESTOP replace-a-top.  The only exterior apologies are a few minor imperfections typical of a twenty three year old vehicle (see pics).

The interior is in good condition.  All seats look good and the carpet matting has less wear than you would expect.  The only interior apologies include a few minor imperfections that you would expect from a vehicle of this age kept at the beach.  A few of the interior metal parts have some surface rust from salt air.

This Jeep drives very well.  The clutch feels good and the 5-speed transmission shifts through all five speeds.  I drove it home from Florida (10 hours) and it performed flawlessly.   I have the original owners manual, and wheel lock tool.
