Description

This 1982 Alfa Romeo Spider is the first year for Bosch fuel injection, and the last year of the unadulterated kamm tail. A good looking, running and driving car, it will however need several little things fixed or replaced.

The paint is a respray in the correct Celeste Metallic and it looks very presentable. There are a few minor chips and light scratches but it should polish up nicely. The convertible top is worthless with the whole rear window torn out, so unless you're the strictly top down type, it will need to be replaced.

Inside, the leather seats are dry and torn, (now wearing sheepskin covers) and the dash top is also cracked from the sun. (also wearing a cover) The carpet looks OK, but the shift boot is torn, and the wood steering wheel beginning to splinter. All controls seem to work well with the exception of the radio, and the release for the trunk pops out of it's socket when pulled.

Mechanically, it runs and drives well, but the battery will need to be replaced as it does not seem to hold a charge. Tires are about 50% worn.

A fun and sporty old Alfa that just needs an enthusiast to freshen it up. Drive it while you fix it, and enjoy the upcoming summer.

Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A 25% deposit is due within 24 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 3 days of auction end. Payment can be made by Cash in person, Paypal, Bank Wire Transfer, Visa or Mastercard. Maximum amount payable by Paypal, Visa or Mastercard is $5K due to transaction charges. Out of state buyers will receive a California title in their name within two to three weeks after full payment is received.
