4.0 V6 ENGINE, AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION, 4 WHEEL DRIVE

LEATHER INTERIOR, POWER SEATS, POWER WINDOWS, POWER LOCKS

ALLOY WHEELS, TOW PACKAGE, RUNNING BOARDS, ROOF RACK

THE EXPLORER WAS A DEALER TRADE THAT WE HAVE BEEN USING FOR A LOANER/RUN AROUND VEHICLE FOR THE DEALERSHIP FOR THE PAST MONTH.  THE ODOMETER STOPPED WORKING THE OTHER DAY WHEN WE RESET THE TRIP METER.  THE SPEEDOMETER WORKS PROPERLY.  THE VEHICLE SHOWS 241708 MILES ON THE ODOMETER WHICH I BELIEVE IS VERY CLOSE TO THE TRUE MILES(NOT THAT IT REALLY CHANGES THE VALUE MUCH!!!!!).  THE VEHICLE MUST BE SOLD TRUE MILES UNKNOWN FOR THIS REASON.  I JUST DROVE IT HOME AND BACK LAST NIGHT (76 MILES ROUND TRIP).  RUNS AND DRIVES GOOD FOR THE YEAR AND MILES.  THE ENGINE HAS A TICKING NOISE THAT COMES AND GOES.  THE NOISE SOUNDS LIKE IT IS FROM THE TOP BY THE INTAKE(LIFTER OR FUEL INJECTOR?).  I TRIED THE 4WD TODAY BEFORE POSTING THIS VEHICLE AND IT WORKED PROPERLY.  THE BODY AND INTERIOR IS IN GOOD CONDITION WITH A FEW DOOR DINGS AND 1 CUT IN THE FRONT SEAT.  THE VEHICLE WOULD MAKE A GOOD FIRST CAR OR A CHEAP SECOND VEHICLE.  IT WILL NEED TIRES AND BRAKE PADS TO PASS VIRGINIA STATE INSPECTION(HAS A REJECTION STICKER).  PLEASE REMEMBER YOU ARE BIDDING ON A 1996 FORD EXPLORER WITH OVER 200K MILES SO IT IS NOT PERFECT OR A NEW VEHICLE.
