Up for sale we have a 1966 Chevy Chevelle SS. This is a true 138 Super Sport that is ready to go. It’s got what we all want with the Big Block, 12 Bolt, and 4 Speed. Also, it has some nice options with the Four Wheel Power Disc Brakes and Power Steering. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of the Chevy, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.

Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. We will start off with the exterior of the Chevelle. The body is solid with good lines with the fit and finish of the panels also being good. It’s covered in Tuxedo Black paint that looks to be about a year old with a deep rich shine. At the time of the repaint the Bumpers as well as other chrome were replaced. The stainless around the windows looks good as well as the grill and tail light chrome. The glass looks nice with only the windshield appearing to have been replaced. The final exterior touch is the set of 18” and 20” American Racing Wheels and New Tires.

Next, we will take a look at the interior of the ’66. It is all done in the classic black that provides an excellent complement to the exterior scheme. This Chevelle has the correct buckets and console. The seat covers, door panels, carpet, and headliner all looks like new. Also, the roof rail stainless on the headliner looks good. When you look at the dash it’s all correct with only a set of after-market gauges being added. The radio was also updated to an AM/FM. As a whole it is very neat and clean.

Finally, we will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it has a ’68 model 396 that is mated to a 4 Speed Trans and a 12 Bolt Rear End. The engine is dressed with Chrome Valve Covers and breather. It has a Holley Carb with headers and dual exhaust. The brakes were updated to Four Wheel Power Disc. Also, it has factory Power Steering. When you look under the Chevelle the floor pans looks solid and appear to be factory. The frame looks good without any visible signs of damage.
