1949 Plymouth Woodie Wagon - A Surfer's Dream 3 Speed Maroon

I am pleased to offer this rare 1949 Plymouth Woodie Wagon. You just don't see many of these Plymouth Woodie wagons. Woodie wagons are all the rage at the moment and some are in the $50k-$100k range. This one represents a great buying opportunity for someone looking to add a woodie to their collection or even better, a surfer who needs a woodie to transport his surfboard. SURF'S UP!!

VIN # is 12356430 and mileage shows 22,729 but cannot be confirmed.

This woodie wagon is a great driver quality car - not a perfect show car. It features the correct/original flathead 6 cylinder motor (owner cannot confirm that it is original to the car) with 3 speed on the column. Paint is very presentable, wood is very good. Underside has some surface rust but nothing dramatic. Interior is in good shape - shows some wear - great original patina throughout.

This is not a show wagon - it is a very good driver quality woodie wagon.

A Few Words About The Owner

The owner of this fine car is a collector from the Boston area who has his own climate controlled warehouse to store his collection as well as a full time staff of mechanics to maintain his cars. At one point, he had as many as 70 cars in his collection (mostly Mopars) but at the moment, he has decided to thin out the collection. Don't miss this opportunity to purchase some truly unique and well cared for cars.

Vehicle Condition

I have not viewed or photographed this great '49 Woodie. I am relying on the pictures and details provided to me by the seller. I can tell based on numerous conversations with the owner that this car is in very nice/vintage condition. The owner is an accomplished collector who is thinning out his collection.

The owner invites and encourages any interested party to inspect this Woodie in Marlborough, Massachusetts (zip 01752). Seeing is really believing.

Take advantage of proxy bidding: Don't loose the vehicle at the last minute! There have been many people who have lost bids in the past because they were not familiar with proxy bidding. When you bid, bid the maximum amount that you are willing to spend on the vehicle. Each time someone bids higher than your last bid, eBay will automatically increment your bid by the minimum bid amount until it reaches your maximum. Don't get stuck loosing a good deal!
