WOW, take a look at this BEAUTIFUL - ALMOST COMPLETLY FACTORY ORIGINAL - 1979 Pontiac Firebird Formula Coupe with ONLY 58,333  ACTUAL - ORIGINAL MILES SINCE BRAND NEW ! This is the car that dreams and fond memories are made of !! We just purchased this SURVIVOR Firebird Formula from the previous older Oregon, second  owner and as you can clearly tell it was his pride and joy for sure !! This Firebird has only had 2 owner's since it was purchased brand new by the original owner November 13, 1978 at Hillsboro Chevrolet in Hillsboro, Oregon and has been in that general area all of its life. This Firebird still retains its correctly mounted - FACTORY ORIGINAL - Pontiac cowl mounted data plate, correctly mounted - FACTORY ORIGINAL - Pontiac dash mounted VIN plate, FACTORY ORIGINAL 1979 Pontiac warranty information booklet, ORIGINAL 1979 Pontiac  maintenance schedule booklet, ORIGINAL Audiovox AM / FM reception booklet, ORIGINAL 8-Track stereo owner's manual, cruise control manual and the ORIGINAL 1979 Pontiac owner's manual, all of which  are shown in pictures below. I drove this Beauty for the last several days as my everyday driver to and from the office running errands as needed and it ran and drove GREAT. I was very impressed how well the car handles and how smooth and POWERFULL it is ! You talk about a KICK to drive, UNBELIEVABLE !! This car doesn't have a squeek or rattle and is a solid driver. This is a NICE - DRY - SOLID - Oregon  - Idaho high mountain desert western vehicle for its whole life !! If you can make it to Boise in the next ten days please come look at this BEAUTIFUL - SURVIVOR  ORIGINAL - Firebird Formula Coupe for yourself. You will not be disapointed ! THIS IS A QUALITY CAR FOR SURE !!   

This Formula still retains what appears to be the STRONG - ORIGINAL - OPTIONAL - "GROUND POUNDING" - Code "K" - 403 CID V8 (6.6 Litre)  Trans-Am motor in it that is running very well indeed. The - "K" Code - 403 motor was the biggest most desirable motor available as an option in 1979 and was fairly common in the Trans Am but rarely seen in the Formula. The BIG 403 motor still retains its ORIGINAL four barrel  intake manifold, ORIGINAL exhaust manifolds, ORIGINAL valve covers,  ORIGINAL air cleaner housing and the ORIGINAL four barrel carb.  Sounds great too with the - "THROATY" - factory style true dual exhaust system with dual chrome tips. It appears the exhaust system still retains the FACTORY ORIGINAL catalytic converters. The motor is backed by a - SMOOTH - three speed automatic transmission that also functions very well. The BEAUTIFUL COMPLETELY ORIGINAL !! - Code "62B" - Camel Tan Cloth and Vinyl interior is in NICE condition with NICE ORIGINAL - Code "A51" - Camel tan cloth front bucket seats, NICE ORIGINAL Camel tan carpeting, VERY NICE ORIGINAL matching Camel tan vinyl door panels, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Camel tan dash pad with NO CRACKS, VERY NICE ORIGINAL factory gauge clusters, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Firebird steering wheel, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Camel tan vinyl headliner, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Camel tan vinyl sunvisors, NICE ORIGINAL Camel tan vinyl center console with padded center armrest ( armrest pad has several cracks) and a VERY NICE ORIGINAL  Camel tan cloth rear seat. The previous owner told us that this car has never been smoked in and please note the picture below of the - "virgin" - never been used cigarette lighter !! This Firebird Formula is nicely equipped  including FACTORY WORKING AIR CONDITIONING, factory power brakes with discs up front, factory power steering, factory radial tuned sport suspension, good heater and defroster, factory back up lights, factory rear window defogger, dual color matched remote sport exterior side view mirrors, original day / night rear view mirror, factory guage clusters, original clock which is no longer working, factory front and rear seat belts, factory tilt steering column, cruise control, mud flaps, factory power wipers, good glass and the working factory original Audiovox AM / FM / stereo radio 8-Track tape player. All of the ORIGINAL light lenses and reflectors are still clear, bright, UNCRACKED and BEAUTIFUL !! Most of the ORIGINAL rubber weatherstripping is still soft, supple and in good condition for being original. The ORIGINAL stainless exterior trim on this car is in  GREAT shape for being original including NICE ORIGINAL color matched front and rear bumpers, VERY NICE ORIGINAL badging. This car is an outstanding cruiser or driver for your local cruise night or show-n-shine ! Nothing needed on this one to drive away ! This vehicle is in nice mechanical condition and it runs and drives VERY well. It is a joy to drive with its WORKING Factory Air Conditioning, power steering, power brakes and automatic transmission. It is very presentable with respect to the overall cosmetic impression. The CLEAN - SOLID trunk sports a VERY NICE  black carpet liner, ORIGINAL - NEVER BEEN USED - stowaway space saver spare tire, ORIGINAL spare tire air canister and the ORIGINAL jack and lug wrench. The correct - ALMOST COMPLETLY FACTORY ORIGINAL !! - Code "63" - two tone Medium and Dark Sierra Copper exterior paint is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL showing several chips, scratches and imperfections but is still bright, shiny and looks  AWESOME as you can clearly see in the picture and video above and the 100 ADDITIONAL PICTURES BELOW. Check out the - AWESOME - FACTORY ORIGINAL - Pontiac "Rally II" wheels with correct Pontiac "Shield" center caps and stainless steel beauty rings wrapped in good Firestone white lettered steel belted radials that look AMAZING on this Firebird and really retains that clean "factory original" look !!  This is the perfect cure for your mid-life crisis and a great investment to boot !!
