This low-mileage Datsun has been meticulously cared for and garage-stored by the same owner for the past three decades! Datsun’s 260Z was the successor to the company’s 240Z. Another in the line of Z cars, it benefitted from a few upgrades. A redesigned dashboard and stiffer chassis were among the upgrades. Late model 1974 Zs (also called 1974 1/2) possessed the heavier bumpers and had the front turn signals relocated to the outer edges of the front grill, above the bumper. This Datsun has been maintained caringly by the same owner for the past 30 years and was garaged-kept in the dry state of Arizona. The exterior is a sharp cherry red that will look fantastic on the open road as it utilizes the lighting-quick acceleration. This scarab conversion sits on four P235/60R14 radial tires and comes with dual exhaust which sounds awesome! The interior looks freshly restored with black cloth seats by Paddy Hopkirk (Hopkirk is a rally driver from northern Ireland). These seats look fantastic, and the dashboard has no cracks to be found. The carpeting is in great condition, and the gauges appear correct. The radio is hidden in the glove box. Under the hood is where this scarab conversion shines. A well-built 350-CID Chevrolet V8 engine powers this devil on the open road. This engine is outfitted with an Edelbrock 4-BBL intake and carburetor, four-bolt mains, 10:1 forged pistons, LT-1 hydraulic cam, 202 valves, Mallory distributor and equal length long tube headers in a tidy engine bay. The motor was balanced and blueprinted and is sure to impress those in need of speed! This upgraded engine is mated with a four-speed Muncie M20 manual transmission. This outstanding 260Z will add some lightning to any collection and will make a great addition for any car collector. Since its conversion, the odometer reads just 223! With its well-maintained history, another caring owner will help keep this Z zipping for years to come. VIN is RLS30045276, and this scarab conversion is being sold on a clear Arizona title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!
