The start of what became the ( M6 legend ), BMW Motorsport introduced M635CSi at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1983. It was basically an E24 with the282bhp M88 engine from M1. With 0-60 numbers in the low 6 second arena, the M635CSi was one of the top performers of its day. All M6 cars came with a limited slip rear differential, larger 15? wheels and tires, it also came with an upgraded suspension.
