• Freshly and thoroughly restored by British car experts Healey Lane
• A wonderful E-Type FHC in its purest and most desirable Series I form

Today, many sports car enthusiasts rightly consider the landmark E-Type one of the finest sporting cars of the 20th century—bar none. Jaguar artfully merged the lessons from competition with the design for its new road car, with the E-Type’s monocoque passenger compartment/tail section, tube-framed engine bay and tilting bonnet all inspired by the Le Mans-conquering D-Type. However, the E-Type’s well-appointed interior, civilized 3.8-liter XK engine (directly from the XK 150S) and compliant suspension made it an ideal two-place touring car. While continuously developed and produced among three basic series, the original Series I cars are the most highly prized for their exceptional purity of line, stunning performance and unique features.
Handsomely finished in White with a beautifully contrasting red leather interior with matching English wool carpeting, this highly desirable Series I E-Type Fixed Head Coupe from 1964 benefits from a fresh restoration by British restoration experts Tom and Randee Rocke of California’s Healey Lane. Its finish, in two-stage DuPont Chroma base with two separate paint applications, offers excellent depth and luster.

The restoration included a complete rebuild of the XK engine and four-speed gearbox to factory-original specifications. The E-Type features an impressive list of all-new components and parts. Among the new items are the fuel lines and fuel tank, front and rear springs, front suspension, brakes, brake lines and cables, cloth wiring harness and electrical components, Roadspeed tires, exhaust system, new door mechanisms and handles, dash with rebuilt original gauges, new steering wheel, new windshield, and the new door glass and rubber seals. Freshly restored, this 1964 Jaguar E-Type is a superb example in its most desirable and purest Series I form. Offered with the Heritage Trust Certificate verifying that it is numbers matching.
