           I have been driving one of these on and off for about three years and always get 29mpg on the highway and about 33 mpg around town.. Cheapo regular gass too..

           Smooth shifting automatic transmission as well and these are 4 wheel drive when needed and front wheel drive when there is not that need...

    This Escape has been to my mechanic and fully checked over.. He replaced the small battery as shown as well as a fresh oil and filter change.. THe rear wheel bearing was replaced along with a full set of new tires...  

      NOW FOR THE BAD NEWS... The brake pedal was hard as a rock when I first bought the car and he said he found no problems.. WELL HE WAS WRONG ... THe brake pedal is still HARD AS A ROCK after you use it a few times... I also needed as AIR BAG COMPUTER for another Escape and I took the one out of this Escape.. Now the airbag light is always on because the little computer in the center console is no longer there.. I have found them on Ebay and in junk yards.. They run about $275.00 and take about 20 minutes to remove the console and replace them..

   You are bidding on this 4WD Escape Hybrid with the BRAKES NOT REPAIRED AND AIRBAG light on because of the missing little computer ..  airbag is simple but the brakes I have no idea.. I now have a new mechanic..
