Exterior: This beautiful Speedster looks great finished in its beautiful red paint finish which is a classic factory Porsche color that gives this car a very authentic look. The paint job on the car was very high quality. The entire car was completely disassembled and painted separately The result is incredibly impressive. The paint has a very "deep" look and has a great shine. When the car was painted, it was done properly and professionally. This is a 100% rust free car. Every panel lines up perfectly and all of the doors, hood and trunk all open and shut with ease and have a solid feel. This car makes everyone think of the James Dean and everywhere you go, young and old all enjoy looking at the car and talking about it. The exterior of this car is in beautiful shape and is in like great condition.

Interior: The beautiful tan interior of this Speedster is like new and in pristine condition. The interior is virtually faultless. The front seats, door panels and dash are like new and in excellent shape and are free of stains and tears. The carpet is like new and in excellent shape. The beautiful wood wheel feels excellent in your hands and really gives the interior a great look and is complimented by a matching wood shift knob. The vintage competition style seatbelts are a great feature that provide more comfort as well look really cool. This car comes equipped with a folding canvas top as well as side curtains to protect you from the elements should the weather turn. This car also comes with a stereo which is a very nice feature to have. All of the beautifully tailored trim is in excellent condition and is like new. Everything is in excellent working order. All of the gauges lights etc... are all working perfectly. Overall the interior of this car is beautiful and is a great place to be.

Engine: The flat 4 engine fires right up and runs like a top. This engine, like the rest of the car, was professionally built and of high quality. The car runs and performs beautifully. The car sounds unbelievable breathing through twin down draught carbs and a beautiful exhaust system. The engine has roughly the same output as the original speedster and replicates the driving experience beautifully. This car is going to be very simple and easy to run and maintain due to its simplicity and large availability of parts. The car's transmission is the classic freeway flyer 3:88 4 speed that shifts excellent and the gearing is suitable for highway driving as well as city driving. The car runs nice and cool, even in Arizona's hot and dry climate. The disc brakes stop the car incredibly well and have a great solid feel. The car tracks down the road straight as an arrow and feels solid driving down the road. These are really well built replicas and should not be confused with low grade kit cars. All of the lights, signals, wipers etc. are in great working order. This is a great driving Spyder that is truly turn-key and can just be driven and enjoyed. This really is a great car to spend time in!

At Close of Auction
