This REAL 242 code GTO was torn down to bare bones. It was stripped down to metal, including the jambs, and underneath the hood and trunk. Then the car was primed, and the process of blocking the car started. After blocking was complete, the body was sealed, then 4 coats of base coat was applied. Then the body was sanded again, and another coat of base was applied, then 3 coats of high solids clear. We let the clear cure, then wet sanded another time, and 3 more coats of clear was applied. The paint looks wet and the shine is "WOW". The interior was gutted, and has received new upholstery, front door panels, and headliner. The floor board was covered in Duratex sound and heat insulation before the carpet was installed. The front end was rebuilt, and the car has received new brakes, brake hoses, wheel cylinders, shocks, and u-joints. The under carriage was coated to preserve the structure for years to come. Then the car was detailed, everything was painted or powder coated to make this GTO look great. Every attempt was made to retain the originality of the car. Most parts were rebuilt, repaired, or replaced with OEM style parts. There is just a small paint flaw on the nose above the driver headlight that happened after the restoration. In state buyers will be charged state and local taxes, title, registration, and documentary fees. Our documentation fee is $150. All sales transactions must be completed within 5 days of auction close.
Deposit
We require a $1000 deposit within 2 days of winning the auction. Please call the dealership to make arrangements for payment.
Customers with zero or negative feedback on eBay Motors please contact us prior to bidding. Otherwise, we reserve the right to cancel your bid. Understand this is only to protect the integrity of the auction. Winning bidder must contact the dealership within 24 hours of the auction close and the purchase transaction completed within 5 calendar days. We reserve the right to re-list or sell the vehicle in the event of a non-paying bidder.
Buyer Pickup
A representative from our dealership can be available for pickup at area airports when necessary. Buyers must schedule pickup prior to making travel arrangements. All of our vehicles are available locally as well, so we do reserve the right to end an auction early at any time for any reason.
