2002 Ford E450 XLT type III ambulance.  Equipped with the very powerful and reliable 7.3L Powerstroke turbo diesel engine with an automatic transmission.  Only 208,100 miles on it.  The body was built by PL Custom Emergency Vehicles.  Loaded with power windows, power locks, AM/FM/tape radio, air conditioning, cruise control, and tilt steering wheel.  This ambulance runs and drives great.  The engine starts right up without any issues.  No hesitations, smoke, misses, knocks, or noises.  The transmission shifts smoothly through all gears.  It is very clean inside and out.  It has been well taken care of throughout its lifetime.  All of the lights, sirens, PA system, and ambulance equipment works perfectly.  Nothing has been stripped out of this ambulance.  All of the compartments are clean and rot free.  All six tires are very good.  It is ready to be put into service today.  It does need front brake pads and rotors from sitting for a bit (pulsates when you get on the brakes hard), but still stops fine.  It could also use an alignment as well.  The emergency brake is weak.  There is a small oil leak from what looks to be an O-ring on the oil cooler.  There is some minor aluminum corrosion in the typical spots, but no rot (see pics).  This has been fleet maintained and we have all of the service records for it.  It has a brand new battery and heater core.  It is ready to go.  Clean title.  Being sold as wholesale to the public.

The vehicle must be picked up within 7 days unless prior arrangements are made.  If the vehicle is left here longer than the 7 days without other arraignments made, it will be subject to a $20 per day storage fee. The mileage may vary slightly due to the vehicle being test driven throughout the auction.
