The Classic Car Gallery is proud to offer for auction this beautiful LOW MILEAGE 1986 Jaguar XJ-6. This CALIFORNIA car has been meticulously maintained and has been driven only 48,182 miles. She is one of the nicest XJs we have ever seen. The owner of this car had a LOVE AFFAIR with her, and meticulously he both mechanically and cosmetically. The original MOORLAND GREEN METALLIC (code 717/het) shows well, with great shine and luster. The interior of the car is excellent. The tan leather seats, both front and rear, are in excellent condition and the carpets and are superb. The rear seats were rarely used, and as such are in excellent condition. The dash is excellent, with no rips or tears, and the Burl Elm veneer has a nice 27-year-old patina. The headliner is excellent. The body of this car is extremely clean, and straight with door gaps and panel fit as from the factory. All original jaguar stickers remain on the panels. The chrome and stainless shine nicely and present well. The Sunroof works as it should, and doesn’t leak. The Carpet in the trunk is clean and in excellent condition. Original jack and tools and books come with the car. The tires have plenty of tread, and the WIRE wheels are in excellent condition. The venerable 4.2 liter inline-6 engine runs beautifully, with great power and torque. The engine compartment is exceptionally clean. Her original owner kept an extensive spreadsheet, and every repair and schedule maintenance record was recorded from new. The car runs, drives and stops, as she should. Power windows, power locks and power sunroof all operate properly. Exhaust is quiet and rattle free. The steering and the front and rear suspension are all tight. The climate control works well, the air conditioning blows cold. She is a fun comfortable car to drive and handles well. This is possibly the nicest and best-maintained XJ6 Jaguars on the market today, so don't miss out.
