If you want Knuckle-Dragging Punch-You-In-The-Face Power, check this Nova out! It has a Very Strong running 427 Cubic Inch Monster under the hood! It has a Big Lope to the idle, Forged Pistons rockin in the bores, Long-Tube Headers and HUGE Dual Exhaust. Firing up this one is like waking up a drunk prize fighter, there is all sorts of noise and you are not quite sure if someone is going to get hurt. Once it warms up it settles down and just sounds cool.

Out on the road tire spin is never more than a stab on the throttle away, even at 50, no really it burns 'em at 50. Of course it doesn't have big sticky meats out back, just two horribly overpowered radials wrapping the stock steelies & poverty caps. No shiny wheels here, this car doesn't want or need them. So, if you have a stiff left leg, a strong right arm, and an elevated testosterone level check this one out. If you lack even one of those you need to check into a bus pass rather than this car.

The body of this Nova is nice & straight. The panels appear to be nice with no visible rust or corrosion. It is a very solid example. There are some of the normal stone chips from driving but otherwise it appears nice with a 'survivor' feel. The paint is in good driver-condition, who wants a perfect car with all the hassles of parking at the far reaches of a parking lot or having to roll Grandma for a door ding.

Chrome wise the bumpers have been replaced and the bright trim is in good condition.

Inside the Black Bucket Seat Interior is in good condition. The carpet, headliner, dashpad and door panels all look recent of good quality. This is just a simple interior, no console, no frills, just what you need to get the job done and nothing else.

Engine wise the Big Block is reported to be displacing 427 Cubic Inches. You can see the Big Aluminum Intake Manifold and Massive Headers. What you can't see  you can certainly hear & feel. The Forged Pistons will not be silenced and are easily audible when cold. The Huge Camshaft can be both felt and seen by the healthy lope to the idle. Simply fire this thing up and you know that it is not a limp wristed 396. Step down on the throttle and there is simply no question, there is BOTH Torque and Copius amounts of Horsepower!

The required-to-be-cool 4 Speed Transmission is none other than a Muncie with a Hurst Shifter. This trans shifts crisp & tight, just begging to be used for things not legal.

Out back a 12-Bolt Differential has been installed. It has been fitted with a Posi-Traction Carrier spinning 4.11 ratio gears. The unit works just as it was designed and makes short work of whatever traction you thought you had. Just ask the motor and this combo turns both tires into smokey spinning skates.

To keep parking a breeze rather than a wrestling match, this Big Block Nova has Power Steering. The pump & hoses were just replaced and the system works excellent.

As cool and brutish as this car is, it still respects physics. That whole 'for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction' seemed like it made sense. The factory drum brakes were never going to anything but get someone killed in an embarrasing & horrible fashion. Now Disc Brakes are found at every corner and a brand new power assist unit makes it all much easier. So now when you get a little too far into the speedometer you can get back down to speed just as fast.

So...if you want a really cool Muscle Car from the General and don't want the typical Camaro or Chevelle like most others, check this one out. Just make sure you can handle a car with Real Power and an Attitude.
