The mileage in the listing is what the odometer reads. It has been stuck for many years, and my dad estimates the true mileage to be around 150K to 170K.

The following is his writeup of the car:

This is a true "survivor car." It's all there, original, never modified (except for paint color - you can see the original green color on the gas cap). Built in the Van Nuys plant in December 1966, and shipped with the smallest engine and Powerglide transmission option, so is a pretty rare bird. I bought it in 1977 from the original owner, and in the 38 years I've owned it I've never seen another one like it. Of the 5,000 Camaro convertibles built during the 1967 model year, most probably had one of the numerous higher-powered options, so this car could be virtually unique.

Engine and transmission were professionally remanufactured in mid eighties, re-installed, so the numbers match. The car was only used for daily transportation for a short time thereafter, so still runs well and is reliable. The front seats are from a salvage yard and originally came from a 1970’s Toyota Corona. They were more comfortable than the original Camaro seats, which I saved. These can be seen in one of the photos, and will go with the car, as will the original boot for covering the top when retracted. I never used it. Interior is all original, the floor having been protected with floor mats the entire time. The trunk liner is original, as is the jack.

This is an ideal car for someone who wants to do a serious restoration, since it's never had a Mr. Macho swap a large engine and transmission into it as has happened to so many of these cars. Entire brake system was overhauled within the last few months. New drums, wheel cylinders, and flexible hoses. Radiator was getting too leaky to fix, so replaced with OEM quality unit, also within the last year. The car has been a "hangar queen" for the last 25 years, living in a locked garage except for two or three times a year 100 mile round trip from Half Moon Bay down the coast to Capitola, just to warm up the lubricants and keep all the bearings from absorbing atmospheric moisture and starting to deteriorate.
