This 1956 Nomad is in excellent condition. This is a true Resto-Mod Street Rod throughout the entire Drivetrain under a Super Sharp Classic 56 Nomad Surfer Wagon. Powered by a Strong 454 Big Block V8 with a nice Lumpy Cam, Headers and Dual Chrome Edelbrock Carburetors and more... Transmission is a B&M Turbo 400 with Shift Kit and mild Stall Converter. Built new Rear End complete with Positraction, Ladder Bar Suspension and Rear Disc Brakes. Painted using PPG 9700 Black Base with Clear Coat. Black Naugahyde Tuck and Roll Interior in excellent condition.

This 56 Nomad is ready to drive and ready to show. Interior is in excellent condition with reupholstered Front Bench, Rear Bench, Door Panels and Interior Panels. Headliner is excellent. Dash and gauges are original. Added Oil Pressure and Temperature mechanical gauges below dash along with an AutoGuage Tachometer that is Column Mounted. The Steering Column is Chrome Tilt with the Original Steering Wheel cut down to a reduced comfortable diameter. The Dash is Original in excellent condition. All Lights and Signals are in working order. Windows are all in working order and all Glass is in very good/good condition.

The Exterior is real nice painted Black PPG Paint and Clear Coated with a clear reflection with little to no distortion. Some normal wear from use over the years but still in very good condition. The Chrome is all in excellent condition with the Grill New and Front Bumper re-chromed. All the Stainless Trim is in excellent condition as are all other trim items. The rear deck and window are restored using new cables and gas charged pistons and work excellent. The Undercarriage is solid and in very good condition with minor surface rust in the normal places. Engine compartment is clean and in excellent condition. This is an exceptional classic in excellent mechanical condition, runs excellent and drives great. Very Strong on Performance.
