Hi and welcome to my auction for this mildly restored Landrover Defender Series 3. The Landrover is a factory County Station Wagon with the safari roof and 7 seats. The genuine factory examples are very rare to find. Many people convert the standard ones but this is a genuine one and this has been confirmed on the Landrover register. The Landrover was imported to the U.S.A. from the U.K. and I have the customs clearance forms etc to go with it along with the UK title ready to register in your chosen state. Its ready to be titled by the lucky new owner. I can have the Landrover shipped to anywhere in the USA if the winning bidder so wishes. I require a $500 deposit via paypal upon auction completion and full payment within 5 days which is preferable by wire transfer.

The Landrover has been mildly restored in the UK before it came to the US. The exterior is in excellent solid condition. The frame is extremely solid and has had a new rear crossmember fitted at a cost of $1000. The rest of the frame has all been cleaned, treated and undersealed so it will last for years and never be affected by corrosion. The bulkhead is in fantastic condition and is as solid as they day it was built. The paintwork has recently been refreshed and is in good shape. Similarly, all the metal trim panels have been restored and painted. Being the genuine CSW it has the rare Safari top which basically guides air into the canbin through roof venting which is great in the Summer. The sides are nice and straight and there is no rot to the body at all. The door bottoms and tops have been changed and are very solid indeed. The wheels have been refurbished in the same cream colour as the roof and this gives a nice contrasting effect. There is also a new tow hitch fitted. There are a few light marks to the body but nothing major and this really is a very good example.

The interior is again in superb condition. The 3 front seats have been replaced for brand new ones. The dashboard is in great condition and all the switches etc work as they ought to. The inner doors and floor pans are all extremely good and no issues here at all. The rear is again in great shape. The 4 fold down seats all operate as they ought to although they do have some signs of use but nothing too major. The roof lining has the air vents which all open and close as they ought to. The lining is very clean indeed. The doors all shut nicely and all doors lock as they ought to. The rear has been cheqeurplated to protect the floor and so you can carry items in the back without damaging the paint. It is very dry inside with no issues of damp etc and its just very good and solid.

Mechanically the Landrover is superb and I cannot fault it. The engine has all been rebuilt recently and runs nice and quietly for a diesel. The engine itself is a 2.25 diesel which is couple to a 4 speed manual transmission. I have also fitted a Fairey overdrive which was an expensive addition but very worthwhile as it gives that extra gear allowing up to 65 mph. The gearbox is excellent and is nice and quiet. The clutch etc are all good. There are no nasty noises and the truck drives very nicely indeed and is very fun to drive. The great thing about these Landrovers are along with being the best 4x4 in the World it will achieve 30 mpg upwards. The heaters all work as they ought to.

To sum up, this is a Landrover that has recently undergone a restoration costing quite alot of money. It does not need anything doing to it and all it needs is a new owner to enjoy it.

Good luck, Id be happy to answer any questions
