1972 Chevrolet C-10 VIN: CCE142Z118613 --350-CID small block V8 with approximately 2,500 miles --Three-speed THM-350 automatic transmission --New suspension --New front disc brakes and rear drums --Custom body work --New 20-inch wheels with new tires --New upholstery --Shaved door handles with remote actuators installed --Custom bumpers MotoeXotica Classic Cars presents another stunning custom Chevrolet short-bed pickup with this 1972 Chevrolet C-10 you see before you. Finished in a metallic burnt orange, this truck will turn heads on the open road! The 1972 models of the C/K pickups were virtually identical to 1971 models, with the only change of the rear view mirror’s being glued to the windshield instead of being bolted to top of the cab, and metal or vinyl-covered flat door panels were no longer available; all trim level door panels were molded plastic with integral armrests and wood grain inserts on Cheyenne and Sierra trim levels. For restoration, it should also be noted that the door and window cranks were slightly longer due to the molded plastic door panels, and the vent windows were now secured with a single screw on the inside of the door, thus differentiating it from the 1971 model year. This second generation pickup has been tastefully modified and will certainly stand out in any collection or out on a weekend cruise! The exterior is finished in a brilliant metallic burnt orange that has a fantastic luster in the afternoon sun. The door handles have been shaved to give a clean look, but there are remote actuators installed. The bumpers are custom, and many of the Chevrolet insignias have been removed to add to the custom feel. The truck sits on new 20-inch Boss Motorsport wheels to give a great lowered stance. These new wheels are wrapped in Goldway G2003 tires measuring 275/40R20 106 VXL. The interior has benefitted from new upholstery as the black vinyl bench seats look like new. This truck retains its original gauges but has been upgraded with a Grant steering wheel. The headliner is in excellent condition. For a nostalgia trip, the glove compartment has the original SPID sticker still intact and legible. Under the hood, the small block 350-CID V8 engine has, according to previous accounts, approximately 2,500 miles on it. With a new suspension and new front disc brakes and rear drums, this truck — with a three-speed Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission — is one sweet ride. This truck will make a great piece for any collection looking for that truck that will stand out from the rest. VIN is CCE142Z118613, mileage reads 29,027, and it is being sold on a clear Washington title — but had been a California truck previously. GET OUT AND DRIVE!
