The winning bidder should contact us within 24 hours of the end of the auction and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $1,000.00 partial payment is due within 24 hours of the end of the auction. The remainder is due within 7 days of the end of the auction.  We recommend using Paypal or Credit Card for the partial payment but may accept other forms of payment.  If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise.

What about Fees, Taxes and The Final Selling Price?

The final selling price and total amount due will be the sum of the winning bid; plus shipping charges (if applicable); plus a $189.50 documentation fee; plus your home state’s sales tax (if applicable); plus $15 for title and state inspection fees (Mississippi residents only). 

How does the buying process work when I buy from Gray-Daniels Auto Family?

1. Pay the partial payment of $1000 via Paypal or Credit Card to secure your vehicle during the buying process.
2. You should make contact with your salesman to exchange contact information and to finalize the details of the transaction.  If you are financing with one of our lenders then we will obtain a credit application from you at this time.  If you are financing with your Bank or Credit Union then we will ask for your lien holder information at this time.
3. If you are financing with one of our lenders then your home state's Sales Tax will be collected and forwarded to the appropriate agency.  The Sales Tax can be included in your loan.  Please supply us with contact information for your nearest DMV office so that we may determine the correct tax rate and the correct address for forwarding payment.  If you are financing with your Bank or Credit Union, or if you are paying with cash, then no sales tax will be collected with the following exception: Mississippi Sales Tax of 5% will be collected from Mississippi residents.  Otherwise, you will be responsible for paying sales tax in your home state.  Normally, this is done at the time of registration. 
4. Depending upon where you live and how you will take delivery of your vehicle, your paperwork may be sent to you via UPS Overnight Letter along with a prepaid Return Envelope.  The paperwork needs to be signed, notarized and returned to our dealership.  If you are financing with your Bank or Credit Union, or if you are paying with cash, then please return certified funds or your personal check along with your paperwork.  Arrangements can also be made for wire transfer of funds.  If you choose to sign your paperwork in person at our dealership then please pay with verifiable certified funds.
5. Once all the necessary documents are received and funds have cleared, we will contact you to make arrangements for you to take delivery of your vehicle.  We can arrange to have your vehicle shipped to you via a fully licensed, bonded, and insured carrier.  Typical delivery time is seven to ten days.  Or, if you choose to drive your vehicle home, we will gladly arrange to have you picked up from the Jackson-Evers International Airport (JAN) during regular business hours.
6. Your vehicle will come with a Mississippi temporary tag.  Your title work will arrive via UPS Overnight Letter or given to you in person at our dealership.
7. Transaction Complete!

What is your Return Policy?

Our new vehicles are, as you would expect, in brand new condition.  Our pre-owned vehicles are scrupulously inspected prior to purchase.  These vehicles have been previously driven and subjected to normal wear and tear.  Every effort is made to accurately describe the condition of each vehicle.  However, it is possible to miss minor items at the time of inspection.  This vehicle is available for personal inspection at our dealership during normal business hours.  We ask that you notify us in advance of your inspector’s arrival.  You should make arrangements to have your inspection completed prior to the end of the auction.    Inspections will be at the bidder’s expense.  Please have all questions answered prior to the completion of the auction as we are not able to accept returns.
