With close to 400 horse power, well tuned suspension and great brakes this car is awesome to drive. It is mild enough to comfortably drive around town, but proves to be all any driver needs to attack a toll road or any road racing circuit. All that is left to do is exterior paint. Power Plant : 327 Corvette engine, 600 cfm Holly carb, with Mallory CD ignition, headers into twin Magnaflow mufflers. Two front mounted oil coolers with fans and a cockpit controlled oil accumulator. Transmission : Porsche 5 speed from a 911 with special gear ratios. The car has a potential of 175 mph at 7,000 RPM. This mechanic has only been 150 in this car and there was plenty left. Engine cooling : Electric water pump to a front mounted Griffith radiator. Thermostat controlled fan, and Pantera overflow tank. Brakes; Wilwood front calipers, 914 front calipers on rear with 19 mm master cylinder from a 911. Suspension : 7" and 8" Porsche rims, Koni shocks, Heavy springs with M&H sway bars front and rear
Interior : Custom welded in roll cage, racing seat with 5 point harness Custom gauges VDO with water temp, oil temp, oil pressure and fuel level also a 7500 rpm tack. All interior is freshly upholstered with new dash and carpeting. Door jambs and engine compartment have been detailed and painted Porsche color 019 Gulf orange. Exterior : Fiberglass 916 flares have been grafted on along with fiberglass rear bumper. Front is IMSA style bumper/ air dam with openings for radiator and oil coolers.
