We have been selling Landrover Defenders within the UK and Ireland for the last 8 years and sell an average of 4/5 a week. Any Landrovers over 25 years old that we had in the past were sold to a company that exported them to the U.S.A and Canada however we are now doing this ourselves and can also send to other worldwide locations. We have an extensive knowledge of Landrover Defenders and below you will find a complete and accurate description of this one. Specific attemtion has been paid to ensure our Landrovers all have excellent chassis's and are in as original as possible condition. We will require a $500.00 deposit via bank transfer within 24 hours of the auction ending and the full payment within 5 days. We have our own fleet of car transporters so we can take the Landrover to any UK port for a very competitive price. You are bidding on a 1984 Landrover Defender 110 CSW in grey. The Landrover has covered 97,000 miles and has had a 200 tdi engine conversion. The 200 tdi is a genuine Defender engine and not a Discovery conversion which is a much cheaper alternative. The Landrover has a new 12 months MOT. The chassis is superb and solid with no welding at all.

The exterior of the Landrover is in good condition for its age and mileage. The sides are nice and straight and do not suffer from any major dents or scrapes. There are a few light marks here and there. There are a few light marks here as you would expect. The door bottoms are a little rusty as you would expect etc. The bulkhead looks in good condition and there are no nasty drafts through it. The 2 rear doors have been changed to the later push button type Defender doord and these have a little corrosion on the frames on the inside but nothing major at all. The Landrover has a standard set of wheels with INSA turbo all terrain tyres fitted and theser are in very good condition indeed.

The interior is in decent condition. It is by no means immaculate but it is in good useable condition. The seats are all original as they would have been in 1984. The two front seats are in good condition and have no major marks and have a very good set of heavy duty seat covers fitted. The second row seat is again in the original material and looks very good condition for age with just a few minor marks. The very rear load area has had the bench seats removed but they could easily be replaced if desired. The dashboard and door cards are in decent condition. The drivers side window does not operate.

The Landrover starts well from warm or from cold and the 200 tdi engine runs very well indeed. The engine revs freely and the turbo spools up nicely as it ought to. The gearbox is very good and all the gears select both up and down the gearbox as they ought to with no nasty noises etc. The clutch is very good and operates as it ought to. The brakes, steering, suspension are all good as they ought to be. The water temperature sits nicely in the middle of the gauge and the heater produces nice warm air although the blower only works on first speed. There are no warning lights and all is as it should be.
