This 1997 Defender 90 is powered by it's original 4.0-liter aluminum V8 that yields 182 hp and 233 lb-ft of torque into the Defender. Mated to a four-speed automatic and fitted with Land Rovers Reliable full time All Wheel Drive System.   Original alloy wheels,  combed wool carpet, 3-speed windshield wiper.

Exterior Condition:  The paint is in outstanding condition with no imperfections as seen in the photos.  The exterior rubber and chrome are all in Excellent original condition, All the glass is in excellent condition. The Front and rear bumpers are Excellent.  There is Absolutely No rust on this Rover, not on the Bumpers, Roll Bars, exterior, Hinges, Under doors, nothing! 
 
Interior Condition: the drivers seat, the passenger and rear seats are in super nice condition,  The dash is excellent,  The carpet is in Nice original condition.  The door panels are in very nice condition as well with no imperfections to mention. Overall the interior is in outstanding original condition and very clean and comfortable.  The photos are very clear and accurate.
 
Mechanical Condition:  Mechanically this Rover is outstanding. The 4 speed automatic transmission shifts strong and smooth in all gears. The engine in this rover performs beautifully with nice power and torque and no hesitation. The engine runs exceptionally clean, starts right up very easily and sounds awesome.  There are no leaks in the exhaust and it is smooth running at all speeds. The alignment is true with no pulling during braking and no excess play in the steering wheel. The brakes are strong. The tires are in good condition with about 75% tread life remaining.   I would feel very confident in this vehicle on any long road trip and would not hesitate to drive it anywhere in the US from here.

Accessories Condition:  All electronics are functioning in the vehicle.  The tachometer, the speedometer and odometer are working properly. The clock works perfectly,   The climate control works as it should with good control.   Lights all work properly

This car is an excellent example of a well cared for low production Land Rover Defender, this is a rare find!
