2002 Audi TT 225 HP Quattro Roadster

Convertible season will be here before you know it and you will want to be riding in this beautiful and hard to find Audi TT.  In the meantime, this car has Quattro AWD, heated leather seats and a power convertible top so you can use it even in the winter weather.

The things that make this car special are a 225 horsepower turbocharged 1.8 liter engine, a buttery smooth 6 speed manual transmission, Haldex Quattro AWD system, bose sound system, and the best and rarest seats you could get in an Audi TT - the amber red baseball glove leather with matching door inserts and steering wheel trim.  This is an absolutely gorgeous color combination for this car.

History

This car has been a southern car all of its life so no rust issues.  It has no accident history or other title issues to report.  It has been well maintained by the previous owners and we have thoroughly inspected and serviced it.

Mechanical

This car is in excellent condition mechanically.  No leaks or rust, almost new matching Continental tires, very good brakes, no warning lights on the dash, runs and drives great with no issues.  We have changed the fluids and filters, we examined the timing belt and it looks to have been changed very recently.  We did send the instrument cluster off for a full rebuild so that all the gauges and screens would work properly.  The power top works just like it should.  The only thing that doesn't work quite right is the glass windscreen that comes up behind the seats when the top is down only comes up about half way.

Exterior

The exterior of this car is beautiful.  The paint is shiny and smooth.  The lights are clear and bright.  The top is in good condition.  There are few very minor cosmetic blemishes but they do not detract from the overall excellent appearance of this car.  There are one or two tiny door dings in the passenger side rear quarter panel, and there is a scuff in the paint below the drivers door.  The wheels are in great shape.

Interior

The interior is what really sets this car apart.  It is nice and clean but it is showing a few minor blemishes as well.  The most noticable is the buttons on the radio where the finish has peeled off.  Also, the hinges on the door for the cubbyhole behind the seats are broken.  There is an aftermarket ipod adapter in the car and the wires are run out of the center console where a missing light or trim cover should be.  The seats are in great shape.  We have the owners manuals, two master keys/remotes, the factory floor mats, as well as the spare tire and tools.

We do not sell any vehicle that we wouldn't drive ourselves.  As a matter of fact, we often put a couple hundred miles on the vehicles before we list them.  We service and inspect every vehicle in our own shop and then thoroughly detail each vehicle. Every vehicle then passes a rigorous Virginia State Inspection by an independent mechanic.  We try to describe the vehicles as completely as possible, however if you have any questions, do not hesitate to call or email us.  

Honesty and integrity are very important to us. You are encouraged to come inspect the vehicle in person before the close of the auction, or have an inspection service to do it for you.  Please call before you come as we are sometimes out of the office or have the vehicle at a different location. You are welcome to drive the vehicle before you make final payment.  If you find that the vehicle is not as it was described in the listing you are entitled to a full refund of any deposit you have paid.  This is only available if you come to our location to pick up the vehicle. If you have the vehicle shipped and wish to return it for a refund you will be responsible for the shipping charges both ways.  Your trade-ins are welcome as well.
