Up for sale is a 1980 Chevrolet Camaro Resto Mod with LS powerplant.  The project started as a one family owned, rust free, bone stock in every way soild car!  We pulled the 305 and sent it to the body shop. There bodywork was preformed and the car was disassembled and sprayed in the new camaro yellow by Extreme Hot Rods located here in Jonesboro. The body is very straight as seen in pics. Paint is very slick (It however does have a couple of chips from being in the shop environment). Flat black accents on the hood and decklid were added as well. Has a killer stance and shows very well!! The 6.0 LQ9 Powerplant came from a 2005 Escalade with 80000 miles. We added a Comp cam (.614 292 cut on 114) , 243 Heads, LS6 intake, World Product fuel rail, 32 LB injectors, Walbro external fuel pump, Hooker mid length headers, Custom pulleys and mount brackets for accessories. Professionally tuned with wideband and is making roughly 400-425 hp to the rear wheels (Conservatily). Sounds VERY good and runs as good as it sounds! (Traction is a problem though, it gets plum stupid when you mat the gas!) The transmission is a 4l60e, fully rebuilt with biger power valve, corvette servos, upgraded bands and a new converter (Factory chevy trailblazer converter), shifts firm and quick! She has a Posi rearend with new center section and new 3:73 gears. Disc brakes all the way around! Wheels are American Racing 17x8 fronts and 17x10 rears. Rear tires are new (285/40/17) fronts are around 60% treadlife left.

     Its a very nice car that will put a smile on your face every time you get in it and go for a drive! Inside the door panels are new, Headliner is new, Carpet is new, Drivers seat recovered in original style, New weatherstripping all around, window trim and door handles are semi gloss black, floor pans are solid as a rock, power steering, hot heat, New Hayden AC compressor (AC not finished in pics its going to get lines made on tuesday so it will have cold ac soon) , Very tight no rattles!
 
     Only reason im selling is to move on to another project.  The only bad points are a chip in front windshield, some scratches on the drivers door glass,  a few chips in paint job from moving in and out of shop and doing the swap, Taillights have a few stress cracks, and the speedometer does not work. Other than that its ready to go! I would drive anywhere, any distance in this rig no problem!
