This W30 is 100% authentic, correct and documented. It’s a 1 of 3100 total 1970 W30’s, the most respected and collected of Olds muscle. How many in the rare special order sebring yellow were built can not be verified. It is believed to be extremely low.  If you want to add the very finest W30 to your collection, this is it.

This beautiful car was custom ordered by a husband for his beloved wife. His wife Rosemary was a school teacher and most of the miles this car accumulated were between her home and her short ride to the school in the 70’s. He ordered everything he could get for her and even crossed over to select a custom W30 order color, Sebring Yellow(Corvette Daytona Yellow). The beautiful and very rare Sebring Yellow was finished off with gorgeous pearl interior and a white vinyl top. 30 years later and 42k miles later the car was purchased to begin a long, tedious 10 year concours quality restoration that would be perfect in all facets and at the highest levels physically possible.  The restorer has been recognized with numerous first place awards at national shows and considered one of the finest restorers of GM muscle and more specifically Pontiac Trans Am’s on the planet. I personally have never seen a restoration of this caliber. I did see the frame off of this car. I could not believe how excellent even the frame was being prepared. 13 years later, I do not find it difficult to say there is no W30 on the planet that can measure to the beauty and excellence of this car. So many times you hear, "no expense spared", etc., and it numbs you into thinking it can’t be bettered. It’s not just money but expertise, artistry, and love for hobby that makes a restoration of the highest caliber. This is the finest you will ever have the opportunity to purchase.

I could speak about every section or area of this car by saying there is nothing that is not at the highest and most exquisite level, period.

First introduced in 1966, the W30 package was the pinnacle of Oldsmobile 442 performance, the 1970 version of which is today regarded as the baddest Oldsmobile of all time. Priced at a hefty $321.23 and described as suited “for performance enthusiasts only”, the W30 442 incorporated a factory balanced and blueprinted 455/370 HP Rocket High Compression engine with Force Air induction, special high-lift camshaft, 750 cfm Rochester carburetor, aluminum intake manifold and clutch fan, all proudly announced by a dual-intake fiberglass hood, “442” and “W-30” badging and special body striping.

The W30 is 100% verified to be legitimate and correct. Again this W30 is everything it professes to be authentically and cosmetically. If you have not followed the value of 1970 W30’s, I can tell you that the finest cars sell extremely easy and fast. 1970 W30 coupes of this caliber are selling over $130k. The convertibles are north of $250K.
