Up for sale today is a a 1992 Jeep Wrangler with the rare Renegade package that was produced from 1991-1994. The Renegade has a 4.0 Inline, 6 cylinder, and 5 speed manual transmission. It has 117K miles. The Jeep Rides well, but is bumpy like any other leaf spring YJ Wrangler. We believe prior to us receiving the Jeep that it was a 2 owner car and we would be third owner. The Jeep came from New Jersey as well.

This Jeep features…

· 33 by 12.5 inch tires on1 15" OEM Renegade Wheel

· Hard top in good condition. The top was originally Red from the factory, and was painted black over the original red. Some of the paint on the top is chipping as pictured.

· Aftermarket Bikini top in good used condition

· Rear Disc Brake conversion

· Hella black magic lights mounted on the windshield frame.

· Sound bar with aftermarket head unit

· Red interior carpet

· Red seats original to the vehicle

· Aftermarket Header

The following maintenance was done in the last 6 months :

New clutch put in about 6 months ago
Resurfaced the flywheel
New U joint in front drive shaft
New Clutch master cylinder
New slave Cylinder
Exhaust gaskets
New Fog Lights in fenders
2 Front Shocks

There is a crack in the passenger front plastic fender. There is some rust throughout on the vehicle, that is not bad at all for a 20+ year old Jeep. The black electrical tape pictured on each driver side and passenger side post pillar is covering rust, we took close up pictures to show there is rust there. The floor pans also have some normal rust for the age of the car. The rear tail gate and driver side door shows signs of rust as well, please review the pictures. The driver side seat foam is worn from being used for 117,000 miles. The carpet does show signs of staining, and there some marks throughout the seats as well. There is a cigarette burn in the rear seat fabric. The glove box door hinge is broke. The 33 inch tires are about the maximum size the Wrangler can carry since it is not lifted. On a full turn, the tires do rub. The previous owner did have spacers installed. The spacers are not currently on the Jeep, but we will include them to the winning bidder.

The headlights, fog lights, Hella windshield lights all work and are all functional.

The paint overall is decent. It is not show car paint, but it presents itself in driver quality condition. Overall the Jeep is in driver quality condition consistent with the age of the Wrangler and mileage on vehicle. This is a great project Jeep for a restoration or a daily driver Jeep that that was only produced for 3 years total. If you have been looking for one of these ultra rare Renegade packages, do not let this one pass you by. They are getting harder to find these days.

The Jeep shows minor damage on carfax from the first owner, we could not trace it to see what it was. If anyone needs a carfax of the vehicle, please let us know and we can email it over.

"AS IS" Agreement

This vehicle is listed "AS IS"! It will come exactly as described and pictured. Once you purchase the vehicle, it is yours. We welcome you to come inspect the vehicle prior to bidding or buying during normal business hours. We are more than happy to show you every part of the vehicle, and put it on a lift so you can inspect all parts. We also welcome all mechanics or body shop repairmen that you would like to bring with you to inspect the vehicle.

If the vehicle is listed as being able to lot run and drive, that means the vehicle can be started and driven under its own power. We will not allow anyone to attempt to drive the vehicle home, as this is illegal. You must have the vehicle inspected and titled prior to driving on the road.

At times, we may add parts to the vehicle prior to listing that will assist the future buyer in their rebuild, cosmetically or mechanically.

Storage

Once the vehicle is paid for, we will provide storage for up to two weeks until pickup or delivery. $25 per day after two weeks.

We may allow for additional storage if discussed prior to purchase.

Towing

We will assist in all towing needs should the buyer decide to provide their own shipping. We will also help loading should the vehicle be picked up by the buyer. Should you decide to set up your own towing, we are not responsible once the vehicle is being loaded onto the transport.

We have our own tow brokers, and will pass our great rates onto the buyer of the vehicle. E-mail us for a quote to your location.
